Everyone knows that your buddies/hommies/friends all can somtimes influence your decisions. If one of your friends was to make an unapproving comment about your girlfriend [ex.:calling her ugly]. Would you break up with her because you felt embaressed by her? I was just wondering how shallow and insecure some gus are out there because I know girls be doin that kinda thing.

I'm getting married August 10, 2008 and I am having a really small wedding...15 people as far as I know right now that includes guest and wedding party. My family and my fiance's family aren't going because of racial issues....(I'm not giving up happiness because of their stupidity) Anyway I want a wedding cake and the whole first dance as husband and wife and a sit down dinner but would that be a stupid thing. I live in Michigan (Saginaw, Bay City area). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If not when is the right time to tell him???
We’ve been seeing eachother for three months…hes already told me he thinks he loves me…but I haven’t told him yet. I feel like keeping it in is putting so much weight on my shoulders and when I am around him its hard to hold it in, but at the same time easy because I am scared he doesn’t want to hear it. I have a friend who is getting married in a few weeks,she had two showers:1engadgement shower &1 lingerie.I told her I was goin to be able to come to the 1st 1 but not the lingerie shower.My sister ended up going into the hospital so I couldnt make it to the 1st shower,but it turned out that I canceled my vacation so I could go to the lingerie shower.(my 21st bday was the day before the shower).She told me she coudnt chill on my bday bc her friend who was throwing the shower was coming down. The bride selected a backless, plunging v-neck halter for the bridemaids to wear in her October wedding. I am mortified and dreading even being seen in public in it much less walking down the aisle in front of so many people. Why would she do this? there is a guy i met that is in a band and i went to one of his shows and totally fell for him! well, then i didn't see him for 2 months. then i just saw him last weekend and all those feelings came back up! i had already told him over text and online that i was head over heels for him and yea so when i saw him i just flirted my little head off. when i told him he said things like "dont' worry, i ain't complaining" and so i thought he liked me to but he doesn't comment me back on myspace and rarely texts me back. i told him we should go on a date sometime and then when ever i ask him to go he either says he has work or he has another date! am i just over reacting or does he not like me????? gah! ...Very often she says "yes", then cancels or at the very least seems anxious when I ask her out...She has a hard time trusting people and she tends to be a loner anyway, but I am starting to take it personally...

What should I do?...

Just stay "friends" with her- as I do value her as one?...

Or should I cut loose because its painful to be around her and want more- which she does not seem to give?..
