Do you ever find yourself missing your "ex"spouse or "ex"partner due to thinking about the memories you shared or places you have gone together, or when you look at your children and remember sacare moments...I have been thinking about my "ex" husband lately and I'm not sure if I just miss him or if I truly just miss the memories we have made...
We both have moved on and are in the last days of our divorce being finalized...I have come to a pont where I don't respect him and have little care about him due to the way he priorities our children last to his "new" life...His constant failed promises and lies is something that I cannot accept..So I'm not sure why I have been feeling like this lately...Could it be that I really miss him or is it just my thoughts and memoreis?? Has anyone ever felt this way or experienced the same thing??

I am a divorced and 43 years old. I can honestly say that I have never truly been loved by a man. I have been abused and used by so many because I think they saw that I had a low self-esteem. I have more confidence now and would like to know what true love is. How will I know when a man really loves me. I never saw my parents in love or show affection. I really would love to have affection and be respected. I love myself and my child, but I do not want to spend the rest of my life alone. I have a male companion that I have dated for 3 years. He doesn't want a committment right now because he has to find himself first. We date each other exclusively but I would love to have more. I just don't think he will ever recover from his second marriage which ended 4 years ago. I really love him and care for him. He is a wonderful guy but has a lot of issues. There is another guy interested in me. What should I do?

But he also has been telling me that all his relationships in the past fall apart after two years & all his friends have waited 3 or 4 years, he is almost 30 and I am almost 25. I know he loves me more than anything I just don't understand why he wants to wait, does this mean he doesn't really want to marry me? We have been living together for a year and just bought the condo we live in. Everyone tells me his friends included how much he loves me and how perfect we are together, he even tells me that along with that he wants to be with me forever and he never wants me to let him go. He says our relationship is so much different than his other ones, in a good way he loves me in such a different way and has a ton of fun with me. Am I waiting around for nothing ?

I have been dating my boyfriend/fiance for 3 1/2 years! When we first started to date we knew we would always be together, however, we would not be able to get married due to his legal status. I was told by my attorney that it would be harder to be able to get him a visa if we wed first. Despite all of the legal issues, we went a head with our llives.....we live together as a serious and committed couple and have a beautiful daughter together.
I have always wanted to marry him, and now we are planning or wedding. I of course want it somewhat big. You know, the typical ceremony and reception. My mother has said that it is a waste of money and I should get married in my church and have a little party with cake and punch in the church hall......Although this wedding is more to me then just marriage, it signify s the official joining of two people in holy matrimony and the start of a new life with the same man and daughter!!!

Okay...I have a huge dilemma! My fiance's step mother was in charge of making our invitations and now we are only about 3 weeks away from our August 4th wedding date. She still hasn't mailed our invitations to us...We are both very stressed about this and I don't have any idea how to handle it. It is to the point where him and I are arguing horribly about this now and I don't think I can handle much more without having a breakdown. Can any of you offer any constructive advice? ok so me and my cousin who also is my best friend love the same boy! hes 16 and im 14 and shes 13
the boy we both like has a brother thats also 14 hes 3 months older than i am,

We live 16 hours away and i am leaving to go home in 2 days. We really havent spent much time together and i feel bad becuase im always with my friends.. what is something that i can do for her before i leave that doesnt cost much.. i thought about taking her out to eat then to a museum becuase she loves history.. but im not really sure where there is a museum around here. I've been living with my boyfriend for about seven months now. I lost my job a couple months ago and have had a hard time finding another job (well, outside of food service or retail).

During my unemployment I've been making sure the apartment is clean and making sure he gets sex once or twice a night. He likes this arrangement and says that he doesn't care if I get another job.

Not that I necessarily mind earning my keep this way, I still feel guilty. My friend and I got in a fight and amongst the words she threw at me was accusing me of taking advantage of him. Am I?

Also, will being unemployed for a long period look bad on me when I do start looking for work again?

I need some help! I had broke up wit this guy a month n a half ago. So 2 weeks ago he writes n says he misses me n cant see his life without me. So we give it another try. Everyday we either talk or text how much we miss each other. So last weekend I text him Friday no response, Saturday he said he was going 2 b busy but I text him how I missed him n at no time not even at night he responded. Sunday I asked to see him he said he will try. I text him that I can't wait 2 see him and then I got no answer from him until Monday morning. Ladies and Men how would you react? My father is emotionally, verbally, and just recently, physically abuvie to me. He also is emotionally and verbally abusive to my little sister and my mom. He called the police and 2 officers came and a sergant and they didn't do anything to him.
I called my teacher and I told her some of the stuff that went on but she was still confused about the whole situation because I left out some stuff because I was scared to tell her everything. I REALLY want to talk to her and tell her what is goign on but I'm scared on the outcome.
I also have another teacher that I called but I don't want to tell her about it because she'll have to file a report. I trust her a lot too. Earlier in the year, about December, I told this teacher some of the stuff that goes on and she filed a report. When the Social Worker came, we were scared and we denied it; so needless to say, nothing happened. She knows though, as do all my other teachers, what he's done and what he still does.
What should I do?

I have an ex that keeps trying to see me. He just practically abandoned me 2 years ago. I don't really have a problem with seeing him. It is just I have alot of anxiety about it. I think I need to do this for me to get closure. To know that I am fine without him. I also think that until I do this I will never be able to have another relationship because I was so messed up from all of that. Only thing is I keep chickening out. What should I do?
