My fiance wants a small fireworks show for after the reception. Just some to go off (not even the ones that go hundreds of feet in the air) and add a sparkle to the night as we leave the reception. Are fireworks at weddings tacky or somehow impolite to the guests with children?

I'm meeting this girls parents. Me and her aren't exactly dating...yet! but, i'm nervous about what I should wear. I'm usually casual/comfortable like athletic shorts and a t-shirt. But I know not to wear that...i'm thinking like a button down shirt and khaki shorts. BUT the only button down shirt I have, the sleeves are too short! Ahh!!

You move to a new town thousands of miles away from any family or friends with your husband and 2 year old boy. He all of a sudden thinks you're cheating on him with a co-worker. He
accuses you, and starts acting really weird putting taperecorders under the bed. He even put a videorecorder across the bed in a vent out of my view trying to "catch me" as he put it. We get into a big fight & I tell him to leave because he's being very disrespectful, he's really convinced I'm cheating. He doesn't come back, & you find out from a coworker that he rented an apt somewhere. I then hire a someone to follow him to find out whats up. No signs of cheating just work & back, but I find out the apt#. I go to try to talk to him because I'm confused(We were together for 6 yrs before this happened(2004), never acted like this before) He then calls the police because he thought I was going to go crazy on him. Our son was w/ me. Never acted like this again for 3 yrs now. No drugs/alcohol.

HELLPPPP... I been with my BF for almost 4 years and we finally got engaged about 6 months ago. He is an awsome guy, and I love him alot. But even when we were dating he never really had a stablished job. I always fight with him because of financial reasons, and especially since now its more serious. I know he's trying, but the problem is he's not grasping things as fast as he should.. And hes not a go getter.... I am more of a go getter then him. He's too layed back. Seems like I am the only one whos really worried about our future. I dont know what to do, if iam having financial problems right now, I know my future looks bad. I dont want to be the only one whos brings in the cash, and i dont want to stress about not having enough money to pay the bills... What should I do?????

Just to be certain, this is my fiancee's account and I'm stealing it to get some advice. =)

Anywaysss, my boyfriend and I are getting married, and I'm having trouble picking out colors for the wedding. We're getting married in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens while the cherry blossoms are blooming, so needless to say, there will be a LOT of pink! We really liked the cherry blossoms theme, so we're incorporating it into our wedding. But I don't know what to use with it. I was thinking blue, but that's too "baby shower-ish" in my opinion. And many people have said pink and brown, or pink and chocolate, but that's just not me.

So, can anyone help me out? I want a main color, with a light pink as an accent. Thanks in advance! o^-^o

Ok, so I go to check the mail today and I recieved a letter from my ex wife. It was a damn wedding invitation!!!! I left her because she was cheating on me with the guy she is going to marry and she invites me to her wedding??? My question is : If you show up to court without an attorney and do not agree with the divorce decree can you refuse the wording of the decree and ask the courts for time to get an attorney ??? There is a custody battle and I do not want my girlfriend to loose them. We are raising the money for an attorney but wont be able to get this done before the court date. Legal Aid is a joke and trying to get an attorney pro-bono is just as funny.

I paid for us to go to Jamacia. I pay for his classes. I bought him a car. I paid off a lot of his debt(debt he had before he met me). He is always broke(we have separate accounts). My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half and we love each other. Two weeks ago she left for Europe and will be there for 5 weeks. I needed to get an email address from her contact list on her email so she gave me her password. While getting the email address I noticed an email from one of her friends asking if she has met any guys. She responded that she has "fallen for two guys" and that she "likes" one of them. These two guys are coming to the town she is in this weekend. I continue to get emails and phone calls from her saying that she loves me and misses me. There is this guy that i began to like. we've been knowing each other for the past two months now. At first he was the perfect gentlemen. He sounded very sincere from the beginning and perhaps looked like he was into me more than i was into him. But at this time that is not the case. Now for the last week and half he has been standing me up. He'll literally tell me that he call me right back and never call till at least day or two later. Then once he gets in touch with me his excuse is he that he is having some family issues, and which sound to exteme. Which i honestly dont believe. Another thing is that he stated i am going to meet up with you after work, i called two times to see where he was and he never answered. Maybe since he cried wolf so many times that if something serious did happened i probably wouldnt be able to believe it. So is he into me or not into me? Is other priority so major that he has to be disrespectful in the process, cause thats what that is.

This question is more towards the ladies but anyone can answer.

This girl and I are in the same swim team, and during one of the practices, she touched my butt and smiled at me like she was kind of flirting/teasing. The coach told everyone to do laps so I didn't have time to respond.

What do you think it means? Do you think she was just teasing me? We did have a few conversations before, and I'm really shy so I don't really talk that much back to her, but she keeps trying to talk to me.

I've been dating this guy for about five months. We have extremely compatible personalties. Everytime we're together we genuinely enjoy each other's company. We talk a million times a day and we always make each other laugh. He's an incredible person and always respectful to me. He comes across as a very honest and caring person. He's definitely someone I can see a future with. In a way, he's like my best friend. The downside is that he hasn't taken me on a actual date. In fact, in any type of social setting he prefers that we just "meet up" instead of going to an event together. When it comes to relationship talk and labels, he's quick to downplay our relationship. He's told me that he's in love with me and that I make him a better man, which makes things all the more confusing. He comes across as a very sincere and honest guy so, I don't think he's lying. I do know that he's driving me absolutely insane! Is he playing games? Should I just walk away?
