i think it is a good way to sum up the evening and sorta let people know the party is over (if that is your thinking).
i would just be very careful going about it, i don't wouldn't any accidents. most children love fireworks. i was at a 4th of July party and there were 3 children under 2 and not a one of them cried. i would not find it impolite. i say go for it. :)
also you can have sparklers as your exit to your honeymoon car (again with being careful). have someone had out the ones that last for a long time and have people line up on either side of the side walk. that sounds cute to me.

I just shot a 4th of July wedding last week with evening fireworks. It was not a professional display, but they had some pretty nice rockets and fountains. I got several nice shots of the B & G watching the show, so it makes for really great photo-ops!
Sparklers rather than rice or bubbles are neat as well. Be sure to have your photographer make a trick shot of people making hearts with sparklers behind you. They should know what you mean, it is just a timed exposure with a rear curtain flash.
If you have sparklers, be sure that children are supervised with them. They get very hot at the tip and can cause a bad burn.

My cousin had sparklers when she was leaving the reception, instead of bubbles or birdseed. The kids loved them, make sure people are spaced far enough away, so no one gets burned. You need a couple of people with lighters to go around and light. Check with the ordinances in your area before you go lighting fireworks, and make sure you purchase them when they are available, or if money permits, look into hiring a professional pyrotech person. Best wishes!

on account that there truly are not any hues that individuals will understand as "firework" hues i think notwithstanding hues make you satisfied could be effective (it is going to likely be form of an "interior" element.) you have centerpieces that evoke fireworks (i'm assuming) so I could desire to think of ending off your decorations with twinkling white lighting fixtures furniture everywhere you pick them could provide that sense. BTW in the journey that your venue has (or is) an captivating exterior section you are able to desire to be waiting to tug off the "fireworks." There are some truly intensely colored stings of mini-lighting fixtures furniture accessible these days. in case you may get quite a few strings of diverse hues and placed say the golf green string in that around shrub over there and the orange string spiraled around that submit over there and the yellow string draped interior the branches of the tree off to the ingredient and the white strings going up the trunks of those 3 timber genuine interior the midsection you will get a real firework bring about case you wait until the tip of the reception, do a countdown without explaining what's occurring on your visitors who've been directed to look that direction and then have somebody turn them on by surprise. That'll provide you an "Ooh, Aaahh" 2nd. ultimate

Children love fireworks! The more, the better. Check with your local ordinances to make sure you can set them off. I was at a wedding last weekend and they had some beautiful fireworks.
Good luck and congratulations.

I dont' think it is....in fact, we're having fireworks at our wedding!
My cousin has access to the "big ones" though...so we're doing it w/a bang!!!
If you're gonna do---dont be afraid to go all out!
You could even have baskets of sparklers for the evening as well.
We're getting large "buckets" and filling them w/sand to stand them up in...and to push them down into once they've burnt so as not to leave all the sticks on the ground. It's mainly for the kids.....but I PLAN ON lighting a few myself!
HAVE FUN!

I'm actually doing that too! I'm going to light of the big ones for our exit, and I'll have baskets sparklers too. It's perfect for a evening wedding in December! :)

Hey! That sounds REALLY cool! I think that would be cool if they shot them off right as you drove off! Or while you are going to get in the car! Well, I'm not getting married but that is AWESOME!
