They can definately be just friends. No guarantees that one of them might not end up liking the other but there are definately MANY co-gender non-sexual relationships out there.

Most of the time they will end up having romantic feelings. It just happens when you're around someone a lot and get to know them well. The problem comes in when only one person develops romantic interest and the other one doesn't feel the same way. Then your friendship could be hurt, or at least things might be really awkward.

It depends, usually friendship is one of the greatest avenunes for the best of relationships. Even when married couples don't encounter the friendship they lose real intimacy and shipwreck.If you do not desire more than just friendship you could be missing out on the real fact of lovers in love. And I say this to anyone married-Keep the one you love your very best friend, learn what it means to be closer than a brother- a friend and you will enjoy what true marriage is all about..

of course they can be just friends. it's only some situations where they end up falling in love...mostly in movies. but in real life a guy and girl can be just friends and not end up falling in love.

I believe that in 95% of male/female friendships there will be a point where he likes her or she likes him or if they're lucky they like each other at the same time and they might start dating. In my 22 years, I can think of 1 guy friend (of my good friends) who I honestly never had feelings for.

Yes they can my best friend in the whole world is male and straight lol.. We get along great talk about anything and everything hes absolutely gorgeous but theres no feelings like that on any side so yeah im pretty sure you can. :)

A guy and a girl can be just friends. But it is up to the girl to treat the guy like a buddy and not tease him.
