Guys can't help being guys. Sometimes we can be men, lovers, fathers, poets and a thousand other things to impress you but eventually we all return to being guys. The XY chromosome set up puts on on a certain course in life and there's nothing we can do about it.
The classic guy story is the Odyssey. Women read it and can't understand why Ulysses ever though about leaving home. Every guy reads it and knows it's time for a road trip.

Don't keep us guessing how you feel. No one is a mind reader so you can't expect us to understand if you don't tell us.
Don't make promises you can't keep. Guys hurt just as badly as girls. We might seem tough or look like we don't care but that's not true. We have a hard time expressing it but just know that when we say I love you, we really mean it.

Respect not only woman but yourself as well. Dont do anything that you dont want your spouse or love one to do to you. Always listen to what she has to say because one day she will say something important and you will not hear it.

Choose WISELY.
Don't think that the person will change- they are who they are and if you want to marry that person, then be prepared to deal with that person as they are.
If you are dating a nasty, petty, snappy b*tch-- then that's what you'll end up marrying if you chose that person.
