Everyone knows that your buddies/hommies/friends all can somtimes influence your decisions. If one of your friends was to make an unapproving comment about your girlfriend [ex.:calling her ugly]. Would you break up with her because you felt embaressed by her? I was just wondering how shallow and insecure some gus are out there because I know girls be doin that kinda thing.

No, why would I care if my homies think that my girl is ugly? At least it means that they won't try to make a play for her.
If they honestly thought that she was a jerk or a bad person, however, then that changes things, and that might make me do a double take, as love is blind, but my friends ain't.

If one of my friends said something like that i'd punch him right in the face and then beat the living heck out of him. And then tell everyone else to keep their negative comments to themselves, but i would never break up with her just because other people didnt like her looks or etc. I would only break up with her if my reasons were valid. You shouldnt be with someone if you let what your friends say about him/her affect what you think of them

Nobody, but nobody influences my thoughts on my choice of women. I know that anyone that tries to disrespect my wife isn't a friend and will probably not have many other true friends.

I would never break up with her just because my friend told me she was ugly. His taste may be different. He can like one type of girls and I can like a different type. I would not let go of a girl for a friend.

Peer pressure certainly inflences people but if you are strong in your choice of friend you will have to stand firm.

As a younger guy, yes, that would wear on me and it would get under my skin. As a more mature person there is no way that would bother me.
