My dad died in february. My aunt keeps asking me who will be doing it. Should it be an older uncle or cousin? Someone that my dad would have liked to fill his place? Does it have to be family?

*I know that I don't have to have one, but it'd be nice.

i need one or two more comparrisons and a way to finish it off
here is what i already have:

ladies and gentlemen, for those of you here that dont know me, im john and im grahams brother, for those young ladies of you here i have a well paid job,my own car and my own place, so come and see me later and we can get to know each other a bit better!

(at that point i turn to one of the bridesmaids and give her a wink and say...)
'allo laura...wink wink alright? wink wink

right, back to the speech
i dont think graham will like me saying this but as this is such a big occasion, i think we should be asking a really big question.....

and that question, ladies and gentlemen, i belive should be is becky getting good value?

the best way to answer this is to compare graham to the 3 or 4 main points you would consider when buying a secondhand car

(i have answers for the the first question 1+2 so dont need any help for them, just 3+4)
1: is he a good runner?
2: bodywork?

my boyfriend is great, but every time we go somewhere out to eat (which is rare), even if it's applebee's, or let's say we go to kings island (even more rare), he b*tches the whole time "geez, this is expensive" .. he just bought an xbox 360 and a $600 projector.. yet he complains about money even if we go to somewhere nice to celebrate for his birthday and i pay. he looks at the menu and i could almost bet the people at the next table i'll hear "geez, this is expensive". he makes good money at his job and has quite a few thousand in the bank. why is he saying this?? it's insulting! i am easy to please and i don't ask him for materialistic sh*t. i don't mind simple stuff like watching a dvd at home or going to mcdonalds if we're out and we're hungry, but this is getting on my nerves. we're going to cedar point next month and i will GUARANTEE everyone that i will hear that the whole entire time we are there. what do i do without being mean.. i am losing my patience??!

My boyfriend does not want me talking to other guys even my friend's boyfriend or past school friends so I have to lie about who I'm talking to when I'm talking to any guys. I stopped talking to most of the guys, the only one I talk to is my best friends boyfriend and he and my best friend's boyfriend hate each other so I have to lie when I'm talking to him. I let him talk to anyone he wants so what is the problem? Why can't I talk to who I want? Is it that he doesn't trust me?

I am expecting a baby in a few months and so is my sister-in-law and one of their neices.Well, my family & I are low income, but I have been placing things back in layaway and paying on them, for our baby. I asked my in-laws for a changing table for our little one. A new one mind you, because a lot of the ones at yardsales have been no good. They are only $ 60.00! These people have a $400,000.00 house a $350,000.00 motor coach and drive 3 expensive cars..and they cannot afford a new changing table? They got the other 2 ladies NEW items! I do not think that I am being unreasonable, it is not like I asked them for some outragiously priced item! I mean heck, I bought a stroller and other things and on my meak salary of $80.00 every 2 weeks and paid on them till they were paid off! She wants to take me to yard sales and buy a beat up, mouse poop covered changing table for my baby. AND I Refuse! I do not want my baby on something that gross! Now, am I unreasonable?

I have two baby boys 20 months and 3 years and half. Their father and i have been separated for almost 2 years now. He was verbally and physically abusive to me. I sent the boys to his mother's house for a few days, and without asking for my permission or letting me know he took the boys to his livein girlfriend house for the week end. I reluctantly accept the two of them going out with them, because she is part of his life, and he's the father. but i don't feel comfortable letting them sleep at their house. He did drugs, and from i've been told, she into that. She is 20 years older than him and support him. And he doesn't support his children.
I asked him to please take the boys back to his mother's house for the night, because i do not feel comfortable because they are so young. He said i am manipulative, to go to hell and hung up the phone on me, do you think i am overeacting and manipulating. What should i do. I'm upset, nervous at the same time and worried for my babies.
Help

I am hosting a bridal shower and was thinking it would be nice to get a little gift for the mother of the bride too. But then her grandmother will also be there, as will the mother and grandmother of the groom. Should I get them all something? Just the bride's mom? Or no one?

You see we started out wonderfully. We were perfect for each other. I'm 20 and she is 18. After a little less than a year I took her virginity. After the first year of our relationship things kind of started to get bumpy. We were in a long distance relationship for 6 months and I became very insecure and we'd constantly argue over the phone. After the 6 months I came back and things seemed to be coming together again. Since I've been back we have so many ups and downs. Arguements left and right. We drove each other further apart and decided to take a "break". I don't know if I mentioned it but we were in love and I still am. I'm not so sure about her. She just graduated high school and is going to college soon. Anyway 3 or 4 days after the break I asked her to come over so we could talk. She says she is confused and she might not even want a boyfriend anymore. There was something by the look on her face that something was wrong. Another guy kissed her and i guess she kissed him back.

Growing up I remember my parents had a newspaper clipping taped to the fridge, 10 tips for a happy marriage...or something along those lines. I can't find it anywhere online. One of the tips was don't go to bed angry...

I hope the people in Yahoo! world can help me recreate this list.

What do you find are the most important tips for a happy marriage. I'm not looking for huge explanations (although I don't mind reading those at all) I am more looking for something to put on the fridge, like this....

1. blah blah
2. blah blah
3. .........

Thanks in advance!

And you didn't really have to do "it" all to know. I am always surprised by people who suddenly find their spouses not affectionate or bad in bed. What gives? Is it just an excuse?

I have two kids that are adults. Girl is 23 and boy is 21. Both are high school drop outs. Both are not working, nor are they helping out around the house. I do all the cooking, cleaning and paying the bills. My hubby works all the time. My daughter that is 23 is very mouthy and causes problems with my hubby and myself. She does havea boyfriend of two years now. He does not like us and he believes everything my daughter tells him. What do you think we should do about our kids?

I have a single friend that works with my husband. She is desperate to be in a relationship and always thinks that guys like her. However, she revelaed to me recently that when she and my husband met (inititally at work), he thought that she liked him. After the exchanged numbers and spoke on the phone once, he wrote her a letter explaining that he was in a relationship and hoped that they would be friends and nothing more. My husband never told me about this. When confronted, he said that he didn't tell me because he didn't know how I would react. He has also given her two cards on different occasions when she was depressed over her relationship issues. I now feel uncomfortable having her in my home. She swears that nothing has every happened and didn't think this situation was a big deal. But, why didn't he tell me? Why has he allowed this girl to sleep over at our house, have dinner, and watch movies (when I'm there of course) if he thought she liked him?

I am getting married in Hawaii at the end of this year and my foster family already indicated that they will not be attending the wedding ceremony due to the cost (we will hold a reception here in town once we return and they will attend it).

How should I word an invitation for them and the rest of my relatives who are not attending? I don't want to insult them by saying that my fiance and I are "announcing" our marriage (that would be an announcement rather than an invitation) but I also don't want to say that we "request the honor of your presence" because then they may feel badly for not being able to attend... Please help!
