I'm 16 yrs old my boyfriend is 19 yrs old ... Do you think he's too old for me, or is our age ok 4 us to go out? I need your help cuz i want to tell my mom about him but i don't know if he's too old 4 me or is the age perfact..idk??help!

well its ok to go out and no i dont think he is to old for you..and as long as it stays that way just dating and hanging out i don't see a problem with it..its only 3 year difference and that is common place to see a 2 - 5 year difference..if i had a daughter and she was dating a 19 year old i would have no problem with it..as long as i met him before she went out with him..

All honest opinion, he is only 3 years older than u and that's not a big difference at all. Of course people will always consider u underage compared to him because ur not 18 yet, but it all comes down to ur mother's approval. If you think she'd disagree, I would wait to tell her. People will do what they want no matter what anyone tells them. U kno ur mother best. I don't necessarily think it's bad because I always dated older guys too and my mom had no problem with it... as long as I was happy, focused, and staying out of trouble. If it was a healthy relationship, it was well worth it and I believe that goes for everyone. Do what you feel in ur heart is right. Everything will eventually fall into place.

that depends. How mature is he, will he be okay not going out with his friends when the time comes? Where is your relationship really going to go? I started dating my GF when she was 15 and i was 18, and 5 and half years later we are still together, but we are very similar. The big deal comes from, are you sleeping together? If so be careful that thats not all hes looking for. But if you think that your parents wont flip out and try to get him in trouble for Sex with a minor, i would say tell them, cause it would suck if you told them then he gets charged with such a bullcrap offense cause your parents are mean. Age wise though, until he becomes old enough to go out to bars its not an issue. Late though that will be an issue so think on this now.

Well normaly a 3 yr age difference isnt anything at all...except when its crosses the 18 yr age...he is over 18 and considered an adult by law..you a minor...IF for what ever reasons your parents got mad about the relationship, or if yall ever had intimate relations....they could have him in jail for statutory rape...even if you consented.

You are too young to date!! When you are a little older then it won't be so bad. He is an experienced man and you are a teenager. I know that it does not make sense to you right now and you don't believe me but yes he is too old. I hope that you do not pursue this and or end it. If you were 18 it would be different.

A three year time span wouldn't be a big deal if you were both in your 20's or 30's but as a teenager it is. So, yes he is too old for you. Finish high school and go to college. If he is still waiting for you then you can feel free to date him.

maybe for know but truthfully, almost every couple in the world has an age difference even bigger than yours. age dosent really matter. just that you love him. it's no biggie to love someone older. it's natural and a lot of couples are like that and i do mean a lot. freshmen date seniors and their not in jail. but i think it is good for you to tell your mom because if not, she might find out and might not trust you anymore so tell your mom. if she says you have to break up, then just remember that she's probably doing that cause she loves you and she thinks that what she did was right. try to talk to your mom and explain to her about it.

its not perfect but its not bad! i was 16 dating a 19 year old too. just tell her before she finds out by someone else and makes a big deal and tries to call the police on him. lol my mom did that.

You might think its ok but your mom most likely will freak out. And really I dont blame her. Get away from this guy honey and find a nice 17 year old.
Him dating you is illegal. Maybe hook back up with him in 2 year when your legal
