My husbands brother is cheating on his wife of 8 years, they have four children together. We spend lots of time with them and are close. He had been taking these weekly "vacations" he doesnt even give a good excuse. All of this happened after he began losing massive amounts of weight, he was FAT and now hes normal!

Now his wife is continuing on with her duties and living in sadness. She works like 70 hours per week, her live in mom takes care of the children. SOOOO? There is supposed to be a family reunion with loads of people at their home soon, how am I supposed to behave?

I dont know how to treat him, and I feel the need to hug her and let her know she can talk to me anytime about her feelings....but I dont want her to know that I know.

HIS mom, my husbands mom told us. I dont even know how she knows, but my heart just aches over the whole thing. Their youngest child is 3, and he has been missing his daddy while away on all these "vacations".

When I told you I wouldn't mind if you went to sleep, I really wanted you to stay.
I'm writing because I miss you and I wish I were with you right now laughing with you while we play under the covers. You make me smile oh so much, and I love every minute of it.
I know we fight, and I know sometimes you can't stand me but you still say "I love you baby" . Excitement meant going to a movie But then I fell in love with you; My mall. You, the thought of seeing you, your touch. I miss hearing your voice before I went to sleep, I wish you were closer.Every day it seems like you're going so far away I think you look adorable in your hats that you wear, I love it all. I love that your tall, even harder for me kiss you.I love how you tease me, I love how I tease you and get you so worked up.Youre my life, my everything, the only thing I could want. I love you

I wrote this poem last night.
I know it's all tegether but I'll fix it.

My dad is forcing me to take piano lessons and I hate it. He is a very uncomprimising person. I got my mom to try to talk to him about pulling me out of it but he just yells. He's very hard to talk to, and it's difficult to get my point across. I have absolutely NO interest in piano, therefore I won't do well at it. Please, advice is GREATLY appreciated.

I would like to know if I am in an abusive relationship. Is it something I'm doing? What should I do?

1) My Wife (Girlfriend at the time) thought I was cheating on her, so she slapped me in my face, spit in face, and cut my shirt off with a knife.
2) My brother committed suicide some time ago. When my wife got mad at me she put a bag over her head and said "maybe I should kill myself like your brother did"
3) She regularly says I'm gay, mother f-er, not manly, etc. whenever we argue. These would just be regular disagreements, but she escalates them with this type of behavior. She explodes on me and then blames me for it.

I don't know what I should do. I tried to get her to go to couples counseling, but she stopped going after the counselor wanted to work on her anger. She refuses to go back. I will not live like this. This is normal behavior in her family. They actually laugh at this type of communication. I was not raised this way. What should I do?

My friend just asked for a divorce. His spouse immediately cleaned out their joint accounts! What should be taken care of right away? (i.e. other accounts, creditors) He is filing divorce papers in in three days.

I only found out last month ongoing affairs have been happening for 10 years on and off ( one SERIOUS one ended last month). We are trying to work things out (not sure what that means yet) but we are still affectionate and attracted to each other sexually. Apparently conversation and common OTHER interest are where I fell short. But sex is the odvious payoff for meeting someone's other needs. When I'm with her now, how do I get the faces (who I have unsuspectedly met and hung out with with her), names and images of her actions out of my mind so I can try to be with her and start over?

I have been married to my husband for 3 1/2 years. For the past year things just keep getting worse. I dread going home. He is so annoying and just plain stupid. We don't agree on anything. He is such a negetive, self-centered person. I had feel down and severly injured my knee. He begged me to make love to him and when I refused because I was in so much pain he got so angry and starting yelling and screaming. Just looking at him makes me want to throw-up. He's not a bad looking person he just totally disappoints me. My friends all tell me to stay with him because he provides for me and our son, but I want more in life thatn just someone to provide. I want someone that I love and feel connected to. What do I do? Can I make my marriage work?

ALL THE TIME I read about women complaining about their husbands looking at porn. Yet these are the SAME women who think that sex for 10-15 minutes every other month should be enough to satisfy their husbands! THEN....in your answers you insist that if your husbands really want more sex from you then they should do more to help you with housework, help more with the kids, buy you flowers, buy you jewelry, take you to expensive dinners, or wisk you away on weekend vacations! All this ON TOP OF working to pay the mortgage, the bills, the groceries, school clothes, video games, I-phones, and your hair & nails! AND ALL WITH A SMILE!

Since when did a little loving from our wives become such a friggin hassle? What's wrong with an orgasm or two or three for you and one for us at the end? And since when did taking things into our own hands instead of CHEATING ON YOU become such a crime? Like we don't know you have a vibrator in your night stand!!!!

I'm asking this because some of my friends and even some adults say I'm childish, weak and may have seriuos problems in my adulthood. They say this because I'm more attached to my parents than most teens. I have a normal life, hang out with friends, paly sports, I'm a good student. But I like my parents, they treat me with love and I lime this. Last saturday I went to the movies with them and it was cool. Another example: Last week I ended up giving in to peer pressure and had som beer at a friend's home. I felt so bad that I told my mom and apologized, I trust and love her. I thought she might get hurt, upset, but she understood, just made me promise to be stong next time, I cried like a lil, girl, she hugged me and I got so happy she forgave me. And now you'll laugh: I was so upset that when I told mom we were in public, in a shopping center, but I couldn't wait. So, everybody saw that scene

There has been a custody battle over my 9 year old sister for the past year now. My father, whom I live with and so does my 16 year old brother, has been trying to get full custody because of the awesome location of where we live. Chicago, is where my mother currently lives and my sister is in the Chicago Public School system. We live in the Lincoln-Way district of 210. There is a huge difference in the quality of the curriculum and the way of living, so much safer than the city. Let me give you a bit of a background on my mother.
In the year 1999 my parents split, because my mom was having an affair on my father, while she had 3 kids at home. She has always been the "stay at home mom" but never gave us kids the respect we deserved, she was not an alcoholic or a drug abuser but, it was more mental abuse with how she made us think about ourselves. My brother and I got to choose where to live, but my sister is REALLY afraid of my mom and doesn't want to speak up and say what she wants...

So I recently found out that my fiance lied to me twice in the last couple of weeks. Both times she promised she wouldn't do something, but did it anyway.

I told her how I felt and that it bothered me, but what should I be expecting to happen? How can I get over it? She pretty much just tried to turn the whole thing around on me.

I dont mean this to sound worse than it does, so please try not to be nasty with answers- but were all honest on here right?!?!

I am a white woman, young, attractive, and everytime I go to the club or walk down the street, or driving down the street (or whatever) Black men scream "A Girl" and get mad when I dont reply, call me a white BI**H and think im stuck up, when really...

#1-I dont reply to "A GIRL" no matter what race is yelling it

#2-I dont date outside of my race (nothing against it for others im just not attracted to men of other races)

and...#3-if im a "white bi**h, then why are you trying to talk to me anyways?!?!!?!?

Other races do this too ---but mostly black men and i just dont understand why??? Is it because im white and im supposed to be easy? What do you think?

So, I'm getting married this Oct. to the best man I've ever met. Honest, kind, sincere, loving...opens doors for me, flowers every other week, provider, etc. It was almost hard to settle with him because I'm the girl that goes for the challenge and he's so wonderful. But, I wisened up and told myself I was stupid to let him go and it's actually a good thing to not have to be worried about the security of our relationship.
My question is, I have this one relationship in my past that was filled with drama and pain, but was so passionate and deep. We never actually got the chance of a full fledged relationship because there were too many things in our way. If we were together, we would have caused pain in other people's lives and everytime we tried it, it was just too much work, but it wasn't because we didn't love each other intensely. Is it common to have that ONE relationship in your past that still weighs on you...even when you're marrying someone else?
