Who cares what other people think! It is important that the both of you are happy with each other. My husband and I are 10 yrs apart and we are very happy and we have been married for 4 years with a 2yr old boy. So yes, it is possible!!!!!!!!!

You will not be able to change the way people think except by example. Many people think that such an age difference means the girl was either after the guys money or she had absent Father issues, because statistically that is the way it usually is.

At 24, that would be too many years older for me because I do not know what you would have in common. But you have to live with him and if that is what makes you happy go ahead. But if you are so happy why are you questioning this?

May not make much difference to you now, but in the future when you are still a hot babe ready for excitement, you find yourself with an old geeser, who falls asleep on the couch with his mouth open, has false teeth, bald graying head and no stamina in bed, belly over his belt....etc.That is when regret will come home to you. But it's too late you have already done it. When you are 35 he will be 60. Everyone will think he is your dad or worse your grandfather and you will either stay home bored to death or you will cheat on him. Too bad for you and your silly decision to marry your dad's age.

My parents were 22 years apart and had a fabulous marrage. My dad was a WWII pilot who returned to the US and met this young 'chick'... the rest was history. He was very athletic which I am sure aided in closing the 'age gap'.. but they loved each other AND they made certain we kids respected their 'private nap time'.... my wife is 12 years younger.. works for me--like father like son...

wow. that's a lot of years. i could never see myself dating/marring someone more than 10 years older or younger than me bacause my i have brother 10 years older than me and a neice 10 years younger. but if it works for you great. you have to remember that your hubby may be dead before your daughter gets married. :[

If you are happy and you love him don't worry about what others have to say about your age. It doesn't matter. As long as you are happy, that is all that should matter. If they don't like it, oh well, they don't have to talk to you any more.
