I was with my ex for about 3 years and since he wanted to drink and come home late and tell me he dont love me anymore I left him. we have 2 daughters together. we have been separated for about 1 year now and of course I have found someone that is everything that my ex was not he is perfect, he loves my daughters and me, but I dont love him as much as i love my babies father i tried to have a feeling like that for my man but it is just not there. Well my ex calls me everyonce in a while to see how the kids are, he is a good man he sends me money for the babies. But he has been telling me he wants a family again and as much as I love him I would love to do so but im not quite sure if its going to be the same as it was before or better, he tells me he loves me and he cries all the time he says he has changed and he misses me. What do I do? and if i go back with my ex how do i tell the other guy i have been seeing for a while now that I dont love him without hurting his feelings?

I've known my bf for 3 years, and we want to get married. My family refused, saying that we aren't mature (I'm 24), and they don't know my bf. But after that talk, they didn't reach out to him, and still ignored him (as always been for the past 3 years!). I want them to be on good terms to each other, but my family's ignorance (and some comments) have made some permanent injuries to my bf, and me myself don't want to live in that kind of moral standard. I tried talking to them, but they've got ways of talking that makes me feel guilty (like "You think about it yourself" sounding like I made a wrong decision). I don't want to hurt my family, but I am hurt when they are ignoring the fact that me and my bf wants, and will be getting married. I think if they think like that, I'll never be "mature" (therefore never can get married). What can I do?

At the time I started dating my bf he was living in another state and doing well for himself financially. It was a mutual agreement that he move here with me. When he first got here he had a difficult time finding a job. I supported the both of us from 05/06-11/06 with a little money coming in on his end. I never put any pressure on him while he was looking. Because of our previous situation, I cont'd handling all the bills (which btw leaves $25 a month in my account) and his checks were for saving and misc. things like groceries or take out and a nest egg. We haven't managed to save anything. Everytime we do he wants to buy something. Rather than pay off the overdraft we had to use on my acct while he wasn't working he wants to buy a TV. He drives my car & he uses my cell. I just asked him to split the bills with me 50/50 and that didn't go over too big. A friend offered us an new apt and we would save $600 a month but he won't hear it. Am I being the jerk... or him?

I have a boyfriend whom I love but the problem is I never see him and he never talks to me. And when I want to hang out with him hes always busy or something and everytime he talks to me I'm unsure if it's a lie or not. And I love him alot. We've been together 7 months but I'm unsure if I should end it and continue looking or to wait and see what happens?

i recently lost my best friend to terminal cancer. He was 17 and we had known each other since the day we were born. Now he has gone only his true feelings about me have came to light. He wanted me for more than a friend, he wanted us to be together forever and have kids etc, yet he never told me any of this. i dont know why. i just wanted him as a friend because i have problems. he died last year and i have began to feel that i love him but i am so upset and guilty and stupid because of all his bottling up his feelings inside, as he died he said i love you but was trying to fight it he said hed be there for me no matter what and at his funeral he requested the song kissing you be played over a presentation of our pictures together so now i feel terrible and his family and mine hate me what can i do? either live or die because i am serverly depressed as it is.

I sent some flowers annoyomously to a girl and noticed that the next day she was very relaxed and calm. I get the impression that the girl is singled.

Does the calm and relaxed reaction indicate that they must have brightened up her day and made her feel important? How do you girls feel upon receiving flowers?

Saturday, the person I've been seeing is coming to spend the day with me. We only live roughly 2 hours apart - and we are trying to see how it goes when he comes here. I am really wanting to establish a REAL relationship with him. Claiming that we are seeing each other isn't enough. I want to be called his girlfriend, and I know that we want the same things, too. What are some things that I can do and say to let him know that I really want to be with him, and I would never hurt him? What are some things we can do to make the whole day seem perfect?

The father of my two children and I live in different states. The children never see him (his choice) and they only hear from him when he has time. The amount of child support is very LOW...I need suggestions on how to increase the amount. I understand the cost will be huge, any suggestions on how to keep costs to a minimum will be appreciated.

My daughter's first name is not what I wanted in the first place. Her stepfather and I were married when she was born and the name was his input. We live in NC and now that she is 16 we want to change it. Any suggestions or info on how/where to start the process? Thanks

I'm 15, this upsets me. My parents trust me and I trust them, but I have several friends who are good kidsdand don't have their parents trust. Some don't mind, but some get really sad and depressed with this. I've never got in any bad trouble, and it's been more than 3 years I haven't got any punishment at all. My worst punishment was ro be grounded for 2 days, I had to stay home but was allowed to watch TV, etc. But, if I mess up - and I'm human and a teen - will I lose all my parents trust? I know most teens mess up at certain point, this seems to be the rule. Most parents messed up too when they were teens. So, does this mean almost no parents trust their kids? Some people say once trust is gone it's hard to get back? Does this mean if a kid messes up - and this will happen to almost 100% of them - then they'll never get back their parents trust? This is cruel, no one deserves this. Don't parents believe kids can change and become trustworth again? Why torture them emotionally?

I've been a little on the curious side with this one. I am engaged to my fiance but he lives in another country, and he asked me to be his wife while visiting him one time but had no ring (he said he wanted to get one but has no means to do so right now- and I don't even want the engagement ring but if he happens to eventually get me one that's fine, I just love him and want to be his wife)
So while we're apart I feel strange being engaged with no ring... when I'm at work or out with friends I get people hitting on me or trying to "hook me up" with other guys and when I tell them I'm engaged to be married or spoken for/promised w/e u name it I say it, they just look at me and say 'where's your ring?' ... it's annoying
So, I went out and bought a fake cz ring to wear so that I atleast appear taken...
Anyone else do this before? I love him so much and I don't even want a ring, I just have this one until he gets his visa then we can get married..

Ok well who doesnt have this issue? lol. I was inspired to ask this after answering someone elses question.

Here's the deal, I am 21. I'm now engaged moved out on my own in college and working full time. I have always been this serious, had to because I have younger sisters and had to play mommy. The problem is that my mom cannot appreciate the support i've given her. She continues to do the same dumb shi she has done in the past, which includes involving me and turning to me as if i am the mother and she is the daughter. She just kicked my younger sister out over some damn soap and this entire fiasco has resulted in me getting a C- on my midterm.

I guess I'm just looking for copeing advice... I really dont know how to get her to see that I need to be able to focus, and that she needs to step up and be mom and not turn to me to be mom. Its been going on since I was about 9 and I cannot take it. Its why I moved out too. if u need more info just say and i'll try. thanks

Brad's ex wife has a key to our home and never knocks on the door. She always walks right in. If the kids are with her or not. If the children are with her, I could understand. She takes showers in our home because all she has is a tub and she hates the tub. She still has clothing hanging in our home because she found a house that does not have much closet space. Everyhting in our garage is half hers. Therefore, I cannot freely go out there and get anything.

Brad does not understand this at all. He says that I am not trusting enough. That we have a peaceful relationship and I should not rock the boat. I try to explain that their is a difference between peace and privacy. I do not want ot cause trouble with his ex. I like the peace. I just do not want her to have free run of our home.

Am I being unrealistic?

My husband and I argue a lot but not excessively. It doesn't bother me enough that I think we should see a counselor, but what can we do to sort out our differences when we fight? We fight about random things.

My father has the most money and will be paying for the wedding. He lives 500 miles away and I only see him every few years. My step dad doesn't have much money but he is always there for me day or night in person, on the phone, or by email without question. I thought about asking him to perform the ceremony but my fiance is Catholic and we have to have a priest to be recognized by the Catholic Church. What can I ask my step dad to do?

He always has mean things to say. He treats me like I'm trash. Talks to me with no respect. I don't understand. We were together for 5 years, he left and now has a new girlfriend. Anything I say, he comes back at me with a nasty attitude. Since the break up he hasn't really been there for his son. He never spends a day alone with his son anymore, his girl is always around and our son is so confused. I told him I thought it was to early for our son to be around someone new. He just got mad and says he doesn't care. Anytime he is around me and our son he is mean and hateful to me. Is there away of avoiding all of that bs. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and I can't deal with the pain he causes. It is hurting me and our son and I want to know when he will sop all of this?
