19 and single... That's me!

I'm a good guy, but too much so. That's why I don't get any girls. I'm the smart, conservative guy.

But nooo, they want the obnoxious idiots that are "hot" and like to get drunk all the time. Sometimes the world pisses me off...

I knew a girl with the same problem. She conteplated suicide on a daily basis....it freaked me out, so I looked out for my own interest and never talked to her again. Careful what you say toots.

Oh and you're not fooling anybody with the "good guy" crap, nobody wants a good guy. Too good = too boring. Trust me you want a spontaneous smart-***, who isn't afraid to tell you what he thinks. Then again you're 19, so it could be hard to find such a great guy like that. It's hard to get ahold of me because I work a lot....point is, if it's possible to find somebody like Myself, go for it, I'll be damned if he won't be the best thing you've ever had in your life.

And don't worry about what these tools think they know about You and being single when you're 19....true I didn't have a steady girlfriend until I was 20, but it's because women are satans puppets. I say if you want a guy and not to be single, then go for it. I always think I need to be single since I'm so young, until I find myself making out with random girls at parties only because deep down I'm a lonely, sexy athletic sap (you'd never guess if you saw me, no lie). If you feel lonely, get a guy or you'll get a disease and a kid with it. Hell maybe even twins, that'd suck!!

In the end no matter who you date, make sure they're your best friend....not in a sense that you already know them and are best friends now, but make sure you can tell them anything, etc.. Sometimes it comes down to you dating your friends. And it works out. My buddy and his best friend (which is a girl) hooked up and are great together. Get drunk with your best friend, flirt, see what happens. Might as well.

I'm a lovable guy.....and I'm buzzed. Work is so fun.

Maybe you are looking in the wrong places. Don't know if you are going to clubs yet, but that is definitely not the place to meet long term relationship material. Get a hobby, something you are interested in or that you enjoy. If you meet a guy there, chances are you have some stuff in common. You will at least have something to talk about. Don't look for a relationship or try to make one out of a casual situation.

My first reaction is, 19 and single? Enjoy it.

But if you insist on not enjoying being single there are lots of good guys out there. The question is are you really honestly looking for a nice guy?

Or are you doing the same as most people who complain that that they're not finding good men or women? Which is look for lots of superficial things and then complain when you got exactly what you looked for.

Show me someone who keeps finding the 'wrong' person and I'll show you someone lieing to themselves about what they're looking for.

Girl, good guys are like the hardest things to find. Like looking for a needle in some hay. I'm 18 and I am single. I realized it is the best way to be right now anyways. You'll understand that it takes time and time ain't gone speed up for you. It usually comes when you're not thinking about it so make it the furthest thing from your mind.

Here! But I'm probably too young for you. I'm turning 17 soon.

Well, I like to hang out around Barnes & Nobles; Dunkin Donuts; and what not. Places where you're exposed to diverse people. Barnes & Nobles is where I would stay to meet new guys. That way, you know a handful of guys there are intellectual. :)

It's hard to find the right guy and what not. It's hard for me to even find the right girl, hah. Usually, it's "you're handsome" and then they stop talking to me. Whenever someone asks me if I have a girlfriend, I say "no" and that just shocks them because they would've expected me to have a ton of girls around me which is... ironic.

My last boyfriend abused me, or at least it felt like he did. The one before that wanted nothing to do with me... and so many times I have been dumped and lost and thought "Where are the good guys?"

They're waiting honey! You just have to give them a chance and take the risk of dating people who might break your heart!

There is someone out there for you!

YOU ARE 19!!!
Please take your time and be sure that you find the right guy for you.
I am 39 and got married 4.5 years ago because I waited to find the right girl and had fun doing so.
You are young so enjoy your youth a bit... Travel, hang with frineds, experiment, enjoy your youth before you get serious with someone.

Go to a Christian college campus and meet those guys who are studying to be a pastor. Date them.

Of course there are good guys. Just got to keep on searching, sadly there is no magic formula.

And besides, you're only 19...plenty of time for it to happen...
