I think your dad should walk you down the aisle alone. A nice gesture would be to have your step dad do one of the readings from the Bible during the ceremony. Perhaps, when you get to the end of the aisle you could have your step dad actually stand up, shake hands with your dad and the groom and give you away. There might be something you could work out.

Who raised you? When you consider of the phrase "dad" who is face do you notice? This is your marriage ceremony, you cannot be concerned approximately no longer hurting folks's emotions on account that all people else will probably be disenchanted approximately the littlest matters. The primary factor this is that YOU get what you desire. And simply don't forget, it is not your fault you have got a dad and a step dad. It's your father and mother fault, they positioned you in that quandary. Do no longer enable them to make you believe responsible for the predicament they triggered.

If you are having a reception, have a dance with your step father.
You could have him do a reading from the bible, ask the priest, he may have an idea.
An idea I like is have your father walk you down, and half way down the aisle have your other father join you.

they both can walk you down, one start and halfway through the other take over. if you don't want to do that, have your step-dad read during the ceremony, bring up the gifts, or be an usher. he will already be involved though, b/c i'm sure he's walking your mom down the aisle, right? reading is your best option.

Have both of them walk you down the aisle...Now adays it's pretty common to have a dad and step dad or even mom and dad to walk a bride down the aisle.

You could have both men walk you down the aisle (if it's wide enough), one on each side. Or have your step-dad do a reading.

Why not have your step dad walk you half way down the aisle, and your dad walk you the rest of the way. I've seen it done before and was very sweet.

Let them both walk you down the aisle. That way you can honor and respect them both, embracing each of them as the men in your life that you love.

Why not have both of them walk you down the isle? That what I'm planning to do. Both my dad and my step dad are important people in my life.

Have them both walk you down arm in arm, one on each side of you...check with your Dad first that it is alright with him and the church too. It will be a beautiful touch and it will recognize and honor them equally.
