My boyfriend does not want me talking to other guys even my friend's boyfriend or past school friends so I have to lie about who I'm talking to when I'm talking to any guys. I stopped talking to most of the guys, the only one I talk to is my best friends boyfriend and he and my best friend's boyfriend hate each other so I have to lie when I'm talking to him. I let him talk to anyone he wants so what is the problem? Why can't I talk to who I want? Is it that he doesn't trust me?

hes insecure to a fault..trust has to be shown until there is a reason not to...he probably feels like you will find someone more interesting than him...he cant control or shouldnt say you cant do anything...i know you are trying to respect his wishes but he should respect you and your relationship enough that you wouldnt jeopradize that at all...just be truthful and honest if he still has hangups and cant get past it he doesnt trust you for no reason at all and that can be a deal breaker from the beginning

There you go. You are right, it's because he doesn't trust you.
But most importantly, he has no faith in HIMSELF.
His trust issues have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with you. It's just that as long as he feels he has control over you, then he feels he has some kind of control over his own fate.
I hope you take the time to ask yourself ;
"Why do I need a boyfriend?"
Is it so you can be ordered around by him, & controlled? How much fun is he to be around anyway if you feel that you need to lie to him just so you can conduct your life in a reasonable manner.
His problem is that he is very insecure.
So why do you make it your problem? :-)

Either he's a control freak, or something that you're doing (when you talk to the other guys) is getting him worked up. Some of those guys may want you for themselves, so it's not totally unreasonable.
Nevertheless, if it is *all* of the guys you talk to, then it's an insecurity issue on his part. He may grow out of it, but he may not. If he doesn't let you have a life, then you will eventually have to break up with him.

The fact that your lying to your BF is exactly why he's doing it. He doesn't trust you. If you don't agree with it don't lie & go behind his back. Just tell him you understand why he doesn't want you too, and if he wants to be with you he has to trust you. But you also need to stop lying.......... If he was to find he's never ever be able to trust you. You have to be honest in a relationship in everyway in order for it to survive & grow.

Let me guess he still has a bunch of female friends!! Tell him to get over it don't ruin friendships over a bf he's not worth it. It sounds like he doesn't trust you enough and he's jealous. Without trust you won't go far!

Girl, he's got issues and needs to grow up and be secure. DON'T let him control your life and tell you what you can and can't do. HIS insecurity shouldn't be your burden. If he can't be confident and trusting, then he isnt worth it. He's not as jealous as he is being in control of your relationship and flat out territorial. That's NOT equality and you deserve better.

He is obviously jealous and yeah it does have to do with him not trusting you. He is just insecure about himself.
