Why would you want a b/f that you could never meet in the REAL world?
How can you Love someone you have never met - for all you know, they could easily be someone else then they claim to be...
They could be married, older/younger than they claim - or even a different gender!!!
IF you are looking for someone that you want to DATE in the real world - then go for it! They can only lie to you up until the point you meet them face-to-face ;););)

When doing any online dating you always have to be carefull because they may not be who they say they are. Any creepy old man can start a myspace page and but a picture of a hot 18 year old boy on there.
It dating on myspace is something that you want to do then go for it. Don't give him information that could get you in trouble though. And if you decide you want to meet someone that like online always drive yourself to the location. Never let him pick you up. And always meet in a place where there is lots of people. Like a restaurant in the mall. You can never be too careful with online dating. Or any dating for that matter.

Finding a guy through myspace is not that bad. But be sure you check him out before you meet and or date. Also make sure he is close to your area.
I met my boyfriend on myspace and we both lived in the same town. We met and now have been dating for 8 months, and are about to move in together. He is the greatest thing in my life, and I'm glad we found each other

I also read that relationships through 'Myspace" have worked out great. I guess it all depends on how serious each person is when it comes to having an online relationship.
If this is what you're thinking of doing....
I wish you the best of luck!!!!

Rarely does anything "always" happen. The internet is a useful tool in meeting people (for friendship, dating, sex, networking, etc) in addition to offline efforts.
I've known people that use myspace that met others they date (in real life), have been reunited with long lost friends, etc.
It can go as far as you desire it to...just use good judgement as with anything else online, people may or may not be as they portray themselves.

Honestly, it's pretty lame. I've met people through myspace and I always get skeeved out when I do it, even if they ARe 'normal,' it just feels so weird...
and, they NEVER look like how they look in their picture.
you get an idea/image of how they are, then you meet them in real life and it's usually not how you thougth they were going to be...

I did and it was not good.
I was dating for the wrong reason though. My ex husband had just left me for another woman and i wanted to find someone as fast as i could to proove to myself that i was good enough. This poor man cryed and cryed when i told him i didnt want to date him anymore. We were only together for like 2 months. And i got to read all about it on his blog.
