Last night, My grandparents and me were watching TV and there was some curvier women on the TV. And my grandpa says "They would be pretty if they lost about 150 pounds." I thought that was a sexist man thing to say. I was hurt by that. I am a little on the curve side but I have always been happy with my self. My grandparents were both married before but they never had kids together. So grandpa has his kids and my grandma has hers. (I'm from my grandma side) My grandpa's daughter and granddaughters are thinner than me. I think that he loves them differently than he loves me. And it shows during the holidays when they are home. He is too stuck in his way to change his mind. Should I tell him how that makes me feel when he says things like that? HELP!!!

I don't find anyone attractive any more. I have been hurt by all the guys I have been with and getting hurt now from the one I married. I have been trying to look but I don't find anyone attractive. Let me fix that last sentence, I have been looking only to test myself not because I am looking to stray. I know it is normal to look even if you are taken. Do you think it is because I am so mad or is there something wrong with me?

Hi, a couple of months ago i was talking to my mother in law and she said that it tore her apart when my husband broke up with his ex-wife, because of the children. I thought it was not very fair to share that with me and I said that sometimes divorce is a good thing. I also told her ins secret that i wished my parents got divorced when i was a child (there were reasons). Now I am sorry I said that, i feel like i betrayed my mom and dad. I dont want to apologise to them because of this, cause that will really upset that that i said that. I also dont want to speak to my mother in law about this again, because she probably already thinks i am stupid and at the end of the day it really is none of her business, i made a mistake by sharing this with her. I talked to my husband about that - he says that we all say stupid things and she probably forgot it. However I still feel guilty talking to my mom right now, but maybe some things are better kept secret and forgotten? Help!!!

My husband of 15 years left me for a girl young enough to be his daughter 3 years ago. He seems to have re-invented himself, dressing very young (He's 53, she's 28) and he's treated me dreadfully. I've kept a stiff upper lip, and not told me children or my family most of what he has done, I've had her texting me calling me a sad old cow, which in a funny sort of way makes me feel a bit better because it displays exactly what sort of person she is. But the fact that he has handed over my mobile number to her, and allowed that to happen is destroying me. My children would kill him if they knew, my parents would be heartbroken, so I'm saying nothing, keeping a dignified silence, but it's backfired, because he is taking courage from my lack of response, and they go past my house and he beeps the horn to make himself look the big man. He's showing off in front of her at my expense. I'm shattered that the man who I thought had a special bond with me can do this to me. PLEASE no joke answers

Once and for all. Men are simple. They are black and white. They are not psychic. They do not read minds. They do not purposly hurt you. If you want them to do something, tell them. If you want them to say something, tell them. If you want them to stop something, tell them. Don't get mad inside because they are not what you want. Then let it boil and fester and cause resentment.

If I guy is looking at you, it is because you are worth looking at. If you want to know why, ask him. He will tell you.

What does a guy want in a woman? A warm body. Prefferably one that does not nag. And that makes him feel good to be a man.

There you go. The solving to all of you problems.

Now, flame away.

so ... me and my ex girlfriend broke up last month for no clear reason, she just told me " I'm not ready for commitment, summer is cominq up.. and beinq sinqle sounds real good right now .] We didn't have any problems or anythinq while in the relationship ... we liked each other for a whole year but we lost contact, and we found each other and got together.. from the very first time we kissed we knew it was meant to be ..

After we broke up.. it's been hard because it's like we can't have a conversation without almost arguing .. so I told her "I think it's best if I just leave you alone, it seems as if we talk we are gunna fight.. and I dont want that so im fall back." and she was mad when I said this to her..

She also told my friend "I dont think I would go back out with him." [talking about me.] and told him that she's "feeling" someone else.. but doesn't like him at all..

How is she feeling? Is she putting up a front to hide her true feelings? I really want her back. HELP!

So i like this guy, he likes me. But i just met him last week and we've been on dates. I feel like i know him, but not enough. He asked me if i would want him and me to be a couple but i'm still confused from my last relationship & i have no idea if i'm even dating the guy from my last relationship or not. He treats me like crap though & i'm really over him. I think the new guy would be much better for me. Do you think i should just tell him i'd rather be friends and get to know him for a while until we become a couple until i get things worked out with the other guy ? Or what should i do ? I don't wanna seem like i'm leading him on or anything ya know ?

One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into
bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says,
"I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads
to hear...

"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman
enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just
love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went
to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend
time with her.

We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big,
big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried
on several different very expensive outfits.

She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just
buy them all.

She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said,
"Lets get a pair for each outfit."

We went on to the jewellery department where she picked out a
pair of diamond earrings.

Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I
was one wave short of a shipwreck.

I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a
tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.

I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine,
honey."

She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the
excitement.

Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think
this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I
don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a
baffled, "WHAT?"

I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a
while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough
for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me,
I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things
I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.... but at least
that b***h knows I'm smarter than her.

Looking for a friend to chat w/ about everyday things...?
Hi, I know this probably sounds desperate but I am looking for a female friend, just to talk about everyday things, some I can call a friend and can get to know over the computer & talk to if I need to talk about something, need advice or just need someone to listen. I recently moved to a small town & I work out of my home so I really have no friends in this area and just am looking for someone I can call a friend! I have myspace if anyone else does, I also have email, AOL and yahoo messager!
I did have one good friend, that I though for sure we would remain friends when I moved away, but she no longer has time for me. We only live an hour and 30 mins away & I either write, send email or call just about everyday but hardly receive anything back from her unless she needs something.

as you have all heard chris beniot and his family(wife and child) were found dead in their home over the weekend. Apparently he did it. So many familes suffer from the ultimate abuse but what as fellow human beings can we do to help others before this happens? Ileft my husband for abuse but some women just can't do that and I understand.

Whether man, or woman, and you could get married to a person with lots of money, would you? How necessary is love in the equation? Could you grow to love them, or would the availablity of money, satisfy your needs? Be honest! We don't know each other anyway. I think I could marry someone, strictly based on the fact that for the first time in my life, I would have money to do things I have always wanted to do. What about you?

I'm a 20 year old guy in college. I met a girl that's one year older than me a few years back. I'm an engineer, and she's an artist. We actually considered dating at one point. But here's the catch: I hate her sense of friendship. To her, hanging out once a month is best friends. To me, that's an acquaintance! She's always "too busy" for me, and when we do meet up, she has a time limit. She's also 'forgotten' or 'double-booked' me multiple times. I'm very busy too, but I set my priorities so I can spend time with friends. I even took a 2 hour train ride (each way) to visit her at her college last year. She had the nerve to tell me she had work to do and that I had to leave by 2pm! She has never visited me at school...

Sorry about the rant, but she has really gotten on my nerves. Our "friendship" (which she thinks is just dandy, but to me is on the brink of collapse) has been nothing but a hassle to me. Any advice?

I really fancy a neighbour of mine. Have been admiring him from a far for a while. Finally got chance to talk to him and we get on well. He acted all nervous around me (which I'm told is a good sign that he may like me?) He's 23, I'm a 33 female. Just want to know my next move? Would he be intimidated by my age? Any advice? What do the younger guys out there think? Thank you for your help. :)

Like when you try to help them find a solution to their problem, and they say,"No you can't it is adult buisness" or something like that. It is like they are telling us that we don't have problems.
