i meant to be going out for a meal with one of my friends to celebrate the end of exams. but my best friend found out i didnt invite her as we going to steak night at this pub and theres no veggie option for her. she found out because my friend told her he cant afford to go out clubbing with her. my best friend has now threatened him and now he cancelled on me to the meal. what should i do as everytime me and my friend go out she threatens him and get jelouse. she even acts like this when im with my bf

He'll be 21 soon, and he's so great at getting presents for people but I have no idea what to get him! He's a student studying english literature, lives in a student flat with three other guys, and he mostly drinks beer and you know, does whatever students do! What do you think he'd like? I really need help, I'm useless at this sort of thing!

My friend had a premature baby earlier in the year and is mad at me because she thinks I didn't care. However when she called me to tell me....I asked her did she need anything. Her reply was that she was going to get some rest. So I went to visit her in the hospital to visit two days later but when I got there she had been sent home. I didn't call immediately because I felt I would give she and her husband time to process what had happen being that he had just got home from a military assignment. So I called a week later from her initial call to see how she was doing but no one picked up the phone. I continued to text and email her but with no response, which was fine because she was dealing with a difficult situation. We didn't talk for over three months and then all of a sudden, I get an email stating that she was angry at me for not being there for her eventhough she acknowledged getting my phone call. I need advice because I'm the "godmother" of her son.

hello, i have been going out with my current girlfriend for 2 yrs and just after a year she hit me on new years day, at first i was shocked and couldnt understand what i had done so i decided to leave , after a week i went back and it happened again the process repeated itself , should i take this should i go to the police and why is it ok for girls to hit men but for a man to hit a girl it is severley frowned upon please help me i have knowhere else to turn , kind regards , Frank

They never let me out to see mates, iv'e asked to them to speak with my friends parents but they wont do that, they're doing everything they can to keep me away from the world. Just because they dont like talking to people they're trying to make me like it too. They base everything i feel on hormones, for example, if my step-mum asks what's wrong and i tell her a good reason why, she'll say something like " yeah but that's just stupid teenage stuff, that's no reason to be down " or if i just say im feeling down for no reason she'll base it on hormones, so that's why i dont tell her whats wrong cause she'll just call it " stupid teenage stuff " and i said to her the other day " well when im 18 i can move out then cant i " she said " maybe we'll see " AHHHH! I mean what the hell does she think she's on about, she thinks she can control me at 18! im going crazy, i start college in 2 months but this is driving me insane now, she just will not listen, neither will my dad, i hate them both.

If it were a very good reason would you really do it? My friend came over last night and she is panicked because she has lied to her husband and cant figure out how to get out of the lie.
She only works part time because her husband is ok with that and he makes decent money. The thing is that she is really bad with money.
He took control of paying all of the bills himself and gives her only like $20 or $30 a week.
She has control of the visa debit card and when she was doing things such as buying groceries or something she would use the debit card.
It adds up to almost $2000 and they have been saving this money to buy a piece of land. Now she is panicked and wants to runaway from him. They have been married a long time. I told her I did not have an answer but I would check with you all and see what kind of advice to offer to her.

my ex and i had a baby 19 months ago but he has been absent throughout my experience. i'd love to meet his mother as he told me she was not alive when we met only later to find out that, that was not the truth and she is alive and well. i'd love for her to know she has a granddaughter and would love to meet her. all i know is the family surname and that she lives in the states. i know which state. but i haven't a clue where to start. or how to approach her if i was successful. as my ex and i finished on ugly terms. and i live in the uk.
