YOU'RE FOCUSING ON THE WRONG THING--- the issue isn't that she's telling diaper stories (which in itself says a lot about her), you should be worried more about the loss of trust and possibly the relationship!!!!! The fact that your focus is on the childish story is a strong indicator of the relationship's depth, and the fact that this is her "solution" or way of getting back at you also indicates where she is/was in the relationship.
Given this, is it possible that there wasn't much in this relationship? Finally, this all suggests to me that you may have some serious maturing to do, especially when it comes to relationships--- you guys almost sound like you could benefit from individual therapy!

Wow, is she going to stay with you? All she has done is spread some silly, stupid rumor? Although that's a bit immature on her part I definitely would NOT call that paying the price.
You destroyed her trust and broke her heart and in return everyone thinks you have a diaper fetish? You got off EASY.
I would think that her telling everyone the TRUTH would be much worse.
Even if she did tell the truth and that you have a thing for diapers, you still got off easy.

Bill,
You have got some serious problems. You are 52 and have no money because you never finish your jobs. You make prices and then take months to finish jobs and think people should pay you more. You took advantage of us and we always gave you the money you were looking for. What you did was scummy. You are not going to get that sales job. I have a contact there unless you finish the job you started here and contact me. You know full well who this is and I am making a call to your " new business in Syosset " and telling them about what you have done to us and other customers if I dont hear from you. I tried to handle this like adults. You think you can go and screw people over and you will not get crewed over. Think again.

Sorry, but you won't get any sympathy from me on this one. You are lucky that's all she's said! I always pick the cheaters so don't have any empathy for them. If you wanted to have sex with someone else, you should have ended the relationship. You cannot have your cake and eat it too, it's as simple as that. The trust is gone and I'm afraid it takes a very strong relationship to sustain an affair. Think with your head next time and not your "head"!

Well have been there myself best I can tell is that your real friends would know better, but on the flip side, being caught out of the martial relationship is a bigger problem I would think.

You got what you deserved. Own it and move on with your life if not away from where you live now.

Take your medicine. She could be telling people you are an adulterer which would be more embarrassing for some.
