Also, what are your feelings on the old "cover your plate" theory? I've never really agreed with it but is it an unwritten rule? Do you really have to double your gift if you bring someone? And, what about if you are in the wedding party? Someone once told me that you aren't expected to give as much because you're spending money on the tux or dress, transportation, hotel rooms etc... I'm not sure if this is true though. Money is not the issue, I'd be comfortable giving $100 per person but more importantly just want to do the right thing. Thanks for your help.

My fiance (the groom's brother) as the best man & the bride's brother as a groomsman! Well I was talking to the bride-to-be a few days ago and she told me that David (her fiance (the groom)) and his parents invited another girl to be a bridesmaid... they did it withOUT talking to Danielle (the bride) and she is so mad!! that they would do that she doesn't even like the girl that they asked to be a bridesmaid (she is friends with the groom's parents and the bride hardly knows her!) and she is aHUGE DRUNK!! and is so loud... the groom's two sisters even hate this girl! how can I help the bride-to-be ditch this other bridesmaid! she DOESN"T want this girl in the wedding party AT ALL but she also doesn't want to look like a B ITCH! How can I help her out of this?? or how can she get herself out of this mess?

There is this guy that lives in one of the dorm rooms across our hallway and ˙he is gay. Some of the guys who live in my hallway pound on his door during the night at times between 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. to wake up him up and then run off leaving him with no clue who did it. Is this a funny prank to pull?

Mom's divorced friend has been flirting with me a lot and tells me how handsome I am.

I must admit that I am curious to get something started with her but I just want casual. Maybe even hit it and quit it. But my problem is that she is very pretty and I might not want to "quit it". I am scared that she might fall in love and I might have to hurt her or that I might fall in love with her and be stuck with a woman 20 years older than I. Should I just leave it alone and not let it happen. Lately, our chemistry and energy is there and is about to erupt.

My husband and I are seperated and he told me that I'll never be able to find a man ever again because of a hormonal imbalance I have that causes facial hair, like a man's. I have men's electric shaver that I use every morning. Do you think my husband is right?

I've talked to her and finally just started doing everything myself. I'm tired of it! She does nothing but clean the cat box. I do everything - EVERYTHING else. What to do?

I am married with 3 little boys that are great! My wife and I have been married for 3 years, I do not drink, my wife on the hand does about 1 bottle of Wine a night, I use to drink but with the boys I stopped after our youngest was born.

Our sex life is non existent. And has been this way for about a year. I am really frustrated and tired of her drinking all the time, she explains to me that its okay because she drank the bottle over the course of 3 hours. I have asked her to cut it down and she says nothing, I also said she may have a problem and she says that its my problem not hers.

I have been considering Separation, I really don't know what to do.

who feel like they treat their wives/girlfriends with extreme respect and love, feel like we only get backlash as if we do everything wrong all the time in their eyes. Are you tired of it? How do you deal with it? Give me some good, not rude, suggestions because keep in mind I love my wife and I want to know if its me or not?

I am a married mother of 3 wonderful young adults. I have been having an affair on & off for about 4 years. The person is in our circle of friends all of our lives, who is also married, kids same age. We all interact on a regular basis. I adore this man. He is good conversation, sex, intellegent & fun as hell. I/we have decided many times that this is wrong, we can't do this and have stopped....until next time. It seems each time we see each other, we get closer, then decide to stop again. I miss him like crazy when we don't talk, and he is nine times out of ten the one that calls me and says hello....thats all it takes. He has called to say hello and he misses me again. I told him I feel the same, but we CAN'T DO THIS. Two days and I've stuck to my guns, but I want to call him back so badly. I miss him too...but I am thinking of how terrible it is to to this to someone. I try very hard to be the best person I can be. Anyone ever have this situation? Any advice?

When guys stared at me I would smile back at them and they would think I was flirting with them. Now I just look at them for 3 seconds and turn my head somewhere else, I don't give them a dirty look or stuff like that. Somehow when I do that they stare at me longer than when I smile at them. What are they thinking about.

I've recently discovered that my husband has been unfaithful with another married woman. I know that 2 of his Marine Crop buddies helped him commit the act (intentionally providing the place and items necessary) They are all Marines and I would like to know exactly what sort of trouble they're facing should the truth be uncovered.

Have been in a relationship for 7 months now with a woman i have admired for 8 years. We get along fine. she has been divorced for 6 years and is very afraid to enter into another committed relationship. Problem is she runs hot and cold. One day she is ready for marraige, next day she is thinking about calling off our relationship. No exageration. Her excuses range from "she needs space to decide", to "God showed her in a dream to get back in church" and stop this "distracting" relationship". We have "stopped " seeing each other too many times to count but one or the other will initiate contact after a few days. I have always chalked this up to her fears but it is taking a toll on me physically and emotionally. (ive lost 15 lbs in the last month and i wasnt overwieght)
Her past relationships have all been with alchaholics, i am NOT. She says i treat her better than shes ever been treated. other factors, but space doesnt allow explantion. question is, more patience or move on?

My fiances 13 year old sister is "talking" to a boy. Her mom always swore she would never let her date before 15. Well now that her and her husband are going through a divorce a lot of her old rules have changed. We tried telling her that there were some questionable things on her myspace page but she got mad at us for even mentioning them and said someone hacked into her myspace and did it. Okay whatever like I wasnt 13 a few years ago. The reason why we are so concerned is because this girl is really smart in school but shes going through a rough time right now because of her parents divorce. I know that know is the perfect time for her to start messing up. Her mom and dad put her in the middle of things and dont even think twice about how its affecting her. Shes growing up really fast and no one is noticing how she starting to withdraw herself from everyone. Their mom is in denial .We tried talking to her but she gets mad, like we're calling her daughter a sl*t.Should we give up?
