I have been in a relationship for 8 years with someone who always wants to break up with me for someone else, then finds out that the someone else isn´t interested and therefore stays. I don´t get so upset about it anymore. When I hear the same story again, I just smile and continue to be myself, because since being with me is great because I try hard and do my best to make my partner happy and that´s why I am confident that I will win out against the competition. If I don´t, then it is probably not because the other girl was better, but because something in our relationship was not quite as it should have been. In one case when I thought I was about to be dumped for someone else, I "beat my partner to the punch" and found someone else for myself. That caused both of them to fight over me, which is flattering, but stressful...and in the end I stayed with the original partner, who appreciated me more knowing it would be no problem for me to find someone new.

Confront him by saying that you've noticed some strange behavior and it's making you wonder. Basically let him know you are on to him. If he IS going to break up, break up with HIM first, this way he learns a lesson.

There's nothing you can do. Want to know what I did when a girl was going to break up with me threw a friend, I walked up to her and did it so she couldn't get the credit for breaking up.

is this what you assume? Do you have any hard evidence that he is seeing someone else? Let him know that you know about it or thinking that you know and ask him to choose between her and you..and then afterward you decide what to do with the relationship..to continue or not to be continue..
