Not crazy, but that breaks down the psychological equilibrium of the person.

I'm not a Dr., but I say no. In the bible, there were many "enouchs" who did not have sex and were fine. I think it can make your hormones change, and cause some mental changes-but there are millions, I repeat, millions that are celebate, virgins in adulthood, and born again Christians out there that do not have sex, yet live a healthy productive lifestyle.
Personally, I was a former slut and bootycall whore, but now in my late 20's, focus my energy on other things, yet still have a strong sex drive.

Begin a guy, I can easily take care of that though.

=)

Reasonably, being celibate cannot make someone lose their mind, though for some it may feel that way. Since some people's libido may be stronger than another's going for a year without sexual activity may be a great degree more difficult for one person rather than another. However, being celibate can not cause clinical insanity. That would require a great number of different factors leading to a mental breakdown or a preexisting chemical imbalance, which would require medication rather than sex.

There are many factors which can lead to mental illness and it is very individual. I personally think that a lack of sex can lead to various psychosomatic illnesses in women, such as painful menstruation or cancer of the uterus. It is said that the vibrator was invented by a gynecologist. People´s sexual needs vary in both quantity and quality and some people are able to sublimate their sex drive either short or long term and to use that energy for other purposes.

Depends on if the person has self-control. My friend-with-benefits and I will make out and things will get a little crazy but we both have control. We are both are waiting till marriage. It's best not to tempt anyone unless you are willing to have sex with them.

No. If someone goes crazy because of not having sex, then they were already crazy in the first place. Either that or it is an excuse to get more sex.

No, because it's been about 5 years for me. If lack of sex caused insanity, I'd be stark raving mad by now and locked up in a loony bin, rather than typing this answer onto the back of a boa that crawled out of my side.
