i think it is the way children are raised and the amount of violence they experience. sometimes it's just a chemical imbalance as i believe it was chris benoit, who might i add, has been my fav for 7-8 yrs. i have been watching wrestling since the womb and always will. look at how many wrestlers have dies or freaked the hell out and i think you too will conclude that it is a quite ironic issue. steroids do things unknown to people before they get involved with them and in my opinion its more harm than help! i love chris benoit and this does not change my outlook on him as a professional; but definely as a man

I've seen women come into an institution for abuse and they send them right back to their abuser. If our health care system or legal system turn a blind eye I just don't know what to think.

What the heck are you talking about? I've worked in human services for years and dealt with sooo many cases of female sex abusers and violent domestic abusers whom the system won't process or even recognize in our culture so the victims end up for years, even the rest of their lives as consumers of the public mental health system. I've watched so much of the use and abuse of the justice system regards men and their lives, destroyed and driven into poverty, homelessness and destitute over manipulation and exploitation of allegations of abuse for self serving purposes by women. I'm thoroughly sick of people like you vomiting forth your dogmatic propaganda when you don't have any idea that of which you speak based on only your marginal personal bandwith of life experience. You really haven't a clue. You see only the big attention grabbing headlines, try please, working these thousands of everyday case files. You want to know what the ultimate abuse is?...... get a fricken reality check!.

Yea ive had to watch my mom be beaten her whole life.. physically emotionally and mentally. But Ive grown to stand up for myself when it comes to a relationship and I swore to never back down if a man hits me, he'll be dead before the morning.

I don't know that we can do anything but give them a place to run when they build up the courage to do so. Maybe more public awareness, that, No it's not alright and you do have choices, you can get away. It may cost you, but staying may cost you more.
As for making them leave you can't people have to realize for themselves...free will.

"Dances w/meatloaf" is full of zhit. its a well known fact that testosterone is the aggressive hormone- and men have loads of it. Women in general, and I do not speak for ALL women, but women generally aren't violent. Just because "Dances w/meatloaf" CLAIMS to work in human services doesn't mean he/she actually does......what a loser.....

Sometimes they are just too scared to leave (which happens alot) and other times they don't want to be alone. It's sad when it's like that, I don't understand either.

The best way, I think, is to educate young people and children, nip it in the bud before it happens, tell them the warning signs, and teach them not to be afraid, if you have to leave, leave.
