This happens to me a lot (I don't know why)...I'd feel flattered, but I'd let her know in no uncertain terms that I'm not interested in pursuing it. It can become a sticky situation if you don't. An ex-co-worker of mine started off conversations with me by asking me which female celebrities I thought were cute, hot, whatever. Well, girls always talk about other girls looks so I didn't think anything of it. But gradually I figured out that she wanted to know whether I was up for an sexual encounter with her. I found it flattering because I was like 10 yrs older than her (she was 24). I was just pleasant towards her but she knew I was straight. But one night at an employee party at a club, she rubbed by butt. I mean, I was sitting down and she came near me and put her hand in the back of my trousers! I shot up out of my chair and went to the bathroom. Later that night she gave me and other friends a ride home. Once she dropped everyone else off, she accused me of being a flirt! So you never know how being "friendly" can be misconstrued as "interested". She actually wanted to beat me up when she found out I had discussed the incident with another co-worker. She was apparently on the downlow and was ashamed of her bi-sexuality. I told her to grow up!

Flattered, and then I would turn them down. I'm in a 17-year relationship... with a woman. We are quite loyal to each other. Also, guys don't turn me on!

Offended. What would make them think you swing that way?

I would calmly but clearly and firmly tell her that I am straight and to leave me alone but that is just me. Why? Do you like this other guy?

I thank them for the compliment, and if I'm drunk enough, or in the mood, I take them up on it.
