I have a brother with ADHD and problems with controlling his temper. He is currently on a homeopathic treatment and seeing a cousellor.

My brother often has blow-ups over small things, like having to stop watching television (he has an unusual attraction to electronics of any kind). These blow-ups last hours, in which my parents are occupied with attempting control him, leaving me unnoticed. I'm having a difficult time coping with the constant strain and shouting. I see no improvement from medicine or counselor.

I feel very lonely, especially in summertime when I don't have school to distract me. I feel like I am constantly in my room with the music blasting. Does anyone have a similar situation, or any ways to help me cope with this lifestyle? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also want those reading this to realize that my brother's problems are complex and it isn't his fault that he behaves this way. I would really appreciate it if no one would say anything rude.

Every since my ex I've had trouble with my self-esteem. He made me question my self-worth, attractiveness, and who I am. He told me things like "Going out with you is like being on a date with my mother, When I woke up next to you I couldn't see that forever, if I dated you solely off looks we would've broke up in the first month." (teardrop) He put me out of his house in the middle of losing his baby. Since then I have sabatoged my friendships, and I can't let another man get close to me. I also have frequent anxiety attacks and can't sleep. How can I get past this? It's been three months. What do I do?

I know it traditionally gets sent to whoever is hosting/paying for the wedding, but my fiance and I are paying for the majority of it ourselves, but my parents are also helping out some financially. I would like them to come to us to be able to keep track better, but I think it would be safer to go to my parents b/c they live in a house (and know their mailman), whereas we live in an apartment, and I wouldn't want them accidentally going to the wrong apartment number. Also, if they go to my parents, do the inner envelopes get addressed to what my parents would call that specific guest (ex: joe and jan vs. uncle joe and aunt jan??) Help please.

I think its normal and healthy to want to be with the opposite sex. I've heard that women don't need men and can make it on there own. Does this mean that women really don't desire men? I can honestly say that the majority of the male population desires women.

3 years ago I was infertile. My husband agreed to hire a surrogate. We had a child, 1/2 his and the other 1/2 the surrogate's. He did not really want a child, but did it for me because I was heartbroken at the thought of never being a mother. He (claims) he became jealous of my attention towards our new baby. I found out a year ago he was having an affair with his employee. She was married and had 2 kids, limited education and bland looks. I was irate and told him I was leaving. Her love note to him that I found made my blood boil! He said that I would have to leave our daughter too. I stayed. I have zero legal rights to her. I am still very angry at him and I really just want to get my own place and be at peace. He has stressed that no other man will be allowed around his daughter...ever. Dispite all that has transpired, we are very civil towards one another (we have been together for 12 years) My trust in him is zero and I sit here wallowing in the fact that I am sooo screwed.

My sex drive is completely gone. It has been about two months since the last time we had sex. It's not his fault; it's mine. I love him and I am in love with him, but as far as I am concerned, I could never have sex again and be FINE with that. I probably should go to a doctor to make sure there isn't something really wrong with me; I know that. However, I have a man doctor, and I feel really uncomfortable talking to him about this.

I feel really bad about how I keep rejecting sex, and sometimes I even let him "do his thing" with no return effort, and this really probably hurts him more. I know if I keep rejecting it, he will probably turn somewhere else, and I don't want this to happen. Like I said, I love him. I wanna grow old with him. Please help!

After being married for awhile, and the newness wears off, what does your husband do that makes you want to have sex with him? Is it flowers?, a night out ? etc.

I have been married for 14 months now and I truly love my husband. Currently his job has him working out of town and he comes home twice out of the week...on days that I have to work. Instead of using at least one of those to take me to lunch he wants to have them both to do whatever he wants since they are his off days. I won't lie, he makes sure the nights are for us and is always home. When he is away is the problem. He works from mid afternoon until early the next morning and so we only talk about 15 minutes when he is headed to work. He always promises to call me the next morning when he gets off which is also when I'm getting up and getting ready for work, but he never does. He says he is so exhausted he falls straight to sleep. I know he works hard and I do believe he is genuinely tired but he does have to ride back to his work provided quarters so why can't he call me then to at least say hello? This is everyday that he's away at work and I've tried to be supportive.

I know there are other questions about this out there and I've read almost all of them but none of them seem to answer my question specifically...I have practically no experience in anal play except for a few things...Please don't make fun, I'm looking for serious answers because I'm curious. I've used things like a pen (not the point!) and other thin objects like that and not to be disgusting...they never come out clean. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, whether I go to the bathroom or anything like that before-hand...they just never come back out clean and I'm looking for suggestions now. Is there something wrong with me? Because it seems like other people I've talked to have less of a problem with this than I do but no one has been able to give me any suggestions. I want to try anal play with my girlfriend but if she puts her finger (or anything else in) and it doesn't come out clean...I don't think that will go over too well with her. Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

What happened?Well, a family situation took place that sorta caused my husband to clam up and not want to talk about things. Then all of a sudden after 4 years of me working night shift he decides he wants me to quit and stay at home.I made as much as him and didn't want to give up my job.So for a couple of months we couldn't agree on anything. We talked with a counselor and she suggested a trial separation along with my best friend(or what I thougt was my best friend)After 3 days of separtion.Husband comes and ask if I want a Divorce - H no is what I said, but he said he felt it best we get one.I was hard headed and told him to knock his self out.He did. My grandma calls Dec 2002 and tells me it's final she read it in the paper.Since then we are both involved with other people. My husband however is my true love, and I believe I may be his.The past year he has tried avoiding me at all cost, but our children keep telling me he's not happy as well as his friends. help!

So my wife was sick the other day and me being the smart one decided to take our kids to her sisters house so they wouldn't get sick too. My wife got all mad at me because she thought it was stupid that I wanted to keep everyone from getting sick. So who do you think was right? Me or her? Did I do something wrong?

My mom has 3 kids including me. She is also pregnant with her fourth. I love my mom more than anything and I know she works hard to support us, and she has alot of things going on, but I just want to be able to hang out with her and talk to her. I've tried to talk to her about it but she always gets mad and says that shes too busy. I did have a counselor to talk to, but I felt uncomfortable talking to my counselor about my problems. It just wasn't the same as talking to my mom.

we didnt go on Jerry Springer, we went on Dr. Keith Ablow Show, and, we have tried counseling, my husband thinks that it is for people with problems and he doesnt think we have probelms. Also, he always threatens to leave me, but never does. Another thing, I dont think I can make it on my own, finanicially it would be hard. I dont know what to do, I am super confused.

Tuesday is my 25th anniversary. Ok first of all, he is a hardworker, very conciencious about paying bills on time. Very caring to me when I am sick or when I had surgery. Have no reason to believe he has every cheated. And Im sure he thinks he loves me but... He can be mean and controlling. Has many times referred to me as white trash, liar, he says he is the only one that plays by the rules. All 3 children still live at home, one handicapped, 2 work full time & full time students. No one can really afford to move out, and I don't feel they should have to untill at least they finish college. He doesn't like when I go anywhere when he is not home. I don't have any friends, I had one best friend, her husband is my husbands best friend. But she died 3 mths ago, so I have no one left to talk to. He seems to think that the kids and I are constantly out to get him. We are just using him for a paycheck, Everyone of us works fulltime. He is convinced his stress comes from

Is it true that a drunk man never lies? If you want the truth - get him drunk? My husband isn't really open with his emotions. I mean he tells me he loves me and shows it sometimes but for the most part is too stressed about work to be preoccupied with me. I really take it personally, I am a very sensitive person. But when he is drinking, he is so loving and caring. Sometimes even cries when he talks about how much he loves me. Even though he doesnt show it that much, am I right to assume that the way he is when he is drinking, is the way he really feels about me?

is sex something that has been spoke about in your family alot? or do you feel it wrong for it to be spoken about to much, because you feel it to be a very personal thing between couples?.

or is sex spoke in the family, but more as a joke (something to laugh about, not in a negitive way).

i sometimes think its a case of, people who go way OTT lol about it, and some people can be very closed minded, and feel it should not be spoken about. For my family, it is spoken about, and many jokes are made about it to.

xxx

(o btw, i mean family as in family as a hole, not just yourselfs and your children, but your parents, grandparents etc)
