My real dad left me when i was about 3 1/2 maybe 4. He gave up all rights to me and my little sister(who was just born when he left) and from what my mom says i was his everything. Well every day i think of him and wonder what did i do to him for him to do this to me..us. Yeah i know "Its not my fault" but if it wasnt then how come everytime i try to get intouch with him it last maybe a day. Then its back to him with his "new" family. It just sucks. And now with Fathers Day i get evern more upset. Should i be over it by now? Is it bad that it keeps getting harder for me every day instaed easier? Please help!

the niece was only 4 years old ( she is now 31)and has not been around the ex for the past 26 years. She will readily tell you she has no memory of that marriage. It lasted only 2 and a half years.. I feel she shows me disrespect to all of a sudden start refering to this woman as aunt after all I am her uncles wife. her uncle and i lived together 18 years before marrying so she has always refered to me by my first name ( not aunt). At what point are we no longer related after divorce? I feel if we're related by marriage the divorce ends the relationship

i ask this because after a year of dating, he refers to me as a friend and not his girl when his friends are around. he wouldnt even touch me wen they're around but the minute they leave, he cant get enough of me. i recently heard he's seeing someone but didnt ask him. i indirectly brought up a topic about partners who cheat and he was well into it saying how much he hates people like that. he then said i was the only woman in his life and wont leave for no other but his actions prove otherwise. we are both on one of the friends website like myspace, and i msg his inbox with some saucy message and he wrote back saying how reliefed he was that i didnt write that on his wall cos it would have started a controversy on his page. recently, i wrote a note on his wall in answer to a question he asked, and i found that he deleted the reply off his wall. im beginning to think that the rumours are true and the gal is also on his page and hes trying to avoid trouble. do you think hes cheating?

My boyfriend loves baseball. But recently, I found out that he met an old girlfriend at one of his games. I couldn't be at the game because we have a baby girl together and it was too cold. Then the other day he told me he wanted to have sex with this girl. But later he told me he just wanted to hurt me. He has a ball tournament this weekend. He says he wants me to go. I know if I don't go, she may go. I feel betrayed. Should I go after what he's done? I feel that if I go it will be as if I'm spying on him. What would you do?

I want to be a good girlfriend. So, guys- what do you like in a girlfriend, and what would run you off...

Like, a couple of things that I do is: I try not to be clingy, and when he does something I try not to overreact and after we talk about it, and he apologizes- I drop it, and I dont bring it up after that. So, any advice from any decent guys on here?

My boyfriend controls our sex life, I would say I really can't make love to him when I want and when ever I try he rolls over and says no. We have been seeing each other for 8 months and would have sex once a week or ever fortnight and its always when he wants. I feel very connected to him as he is all over me all the time and very cuddly and kisses, but he never pashes me, like maybe during sex, but he will never just come up and give me a pash for the sack of it. lots of hugs and kisses but not pashing. hellooo.
Well, for a couple of weeks now I've liked this one guy. We know eachother for about a year and a half and we're pretty good friends. Things were going great until last Saturday. Me, my ex-boyfriend, this guy I like (who is actually his best friend!) and some other friends went to the movies. We sat beside each other, and he kept trying to give me hints to come closer to him, but I felt sort of weird because my ex-boyfriend was there. After the movie, my ex-boyfriend asked me what I would say if his best friend was to ask me out. I told him that I don't know because I would really have to like him. The truth was, I would say yes. I just didn't want to tell my ex-boyfriend that because I know that's wrong. Especially after telling him while we were dating, that I would never go for his best friend. The next day when I talked to the guy I like, he was acting really weird. He didn't say much to me & didn't sit beside me or anything. What should I do?

To me have a connection and attraction with the person you are with is so important.
I have been with my husband for 7 years and we have been seperated for 8 months, and during that time I fell in love with another man. I have decided to give it another go with my husband as I did'nt want to walk away and feel like I did'nt give it a good go.
I'm currently grieving my old love, but there was so much about being with him that was wrong. My husband and I have in my eyes not had a connection for many years, and actually did'nt want to have sex with him, I would put it off and just not ever be into it. He actually said that its like I find it a chore doing it with him, which explained it exactly.
Everything else in our relationship is perfect but the intimacy and connection that has been lost over the years. Can we get it back, and will my old love ever become a distant memory.

Well I have a a boyfriend and he's the greatest, I'm not asking because of him. I'm asking because of me. l hate being in a relationship, I feel like my freedom is restricted even though my boyfriend is about the most lax guy in the world. He does every thing right and is not only my boyfriend but my best friend. But I hate not being able to flirt with guys like at the pool, and stuff like that. It just doesn't feel right. ok, my husband and I have been together for nearly 7 years. we have been seperated for 8 months, and before we seperated he was working overseas for 6 months. During our whole relationship he has always worked away, and I have always been fine with it, When he came back from being overseas for 6 months I felt we were just worlds apart and just distant, it became apparent to me that we had no connection left and I just really did'nt find him not only sexually attractive but also was'nt connected to him emotionally at all.
Here comes the bad part. I have been trying to get divorced from a registered pedaphile who is presently in prison for molesting our daughter. He refuses to sign the papers and I am told he has rights. I thought the Judge took his rights away when he sentenced him to prison. He is not allowed contact with our children at all. The only thing I have in both our names is the car. How do I get his name off the registration? I need the car for transportation and I did pay for it and the insurance and upkeep. I don't feel he has a right to make demands at all. I am the one who should be demanding things from him. Like child support which he has never paid in 18 years.

I was in a very bad relationship and to make a long story short I left him and when I did he had the ring and he gave it back to me I said no you keep it and he said no I bought it for you, you keep it. Now its about 6 months later and he is demanding it back. Do you think I should keep it (maybe trade it in for something for me) or give it back. This was a physical and very extremely verbal absive relationship.

in the beginning it wasnt bad but after we got engaged it got bad.
we were together since i was 15 and now i'm 20
i just told him in an e-mail i didnt have it anymore.


**Also! I said if it was a family ring I would have given it back but its not. He is saying he wants to give it to some girl in the future he wants to marry and i said NO girl will want a ring u proposed to someone else with and was once ur ex's!

I asked my boyfriend to move out today beacause i found porn on the computer. We have been through this before & he promised me that he wouldn't do it again, he was sorry, he loves me etc.

What would you do being in this situation?

Carry on seeing the ex boyfriend who has a girlfriend? Going out to the cinema, drinks, kissing etc. How about if knowing he has a girlfriend is at the back of your mind and it's not your problem? It's his problem? Would you carry on? or not? if so why? Why is it wrong if he isn't bothered? Is it really wrong or is life too short?

So; I am reaching out to the world in effort to save my failing marriage! I'm probably like a millioln others out there with this feeling of desperation! It is affecting my self esteem, my work ethic, my home ethic, my children, my mind, attitude and self worth, and ultimately it is affecting him, my life's companion! I have so much to work on, it feels like so little time, as a matter of fact, I think it may be too late. His habits, attitude and communication with me are quite harsh, he's sick of me, showing signs of attraction towards others, talks in his sleep of what he's done, calls me by another's name, gets extreme in reaction when I question his actions, brings up the past, causes fights, is doing extraordinary things far outside his norm, getting "ready" before work in a way he never has, wears cologne for work, not me, tells me he's going one place and goes another, doesn't call me nearly ever and seems to get highly angry at things out of the norm...help
