i heard young people are only good for one thing... thats what i heard from a older person dating a 23 young man. but not all old people are like that. if you two really are into each other then go for it... but watch out for him trying to sleep with you soon.... follow ur heart is the best advice... and good luck

I'm 23 and guy I have been seeing is 40. So we have a pretty good age difference between us, and at first it was a big deal to me. With time though I got to see that it wasn't as big a deal to me as it was to other people around us who were being judgemental.

I love a person for who they are, not how old or young they are. I know sometimes those age differences can be a problem for two people, but it's not really about age as much as it is about the person's maturity levels. It's not a situation that works out well for everyone.

If it's meant to be though, it will work out.

It's a little weird to me because at 20 you are just coming into experiencing the world through "new" adult eyes. By the time you turn 42 or 43 you are usually "fully cooked". But, I guess whatever floats your boat! good luck to your "neighbor".

If I was 20 I wouldn't date a 43 year old. Because if I was 20, 43 is exactly how old my Father would be. Nothing wrong with it if neither person cares, they're the only ones it affects and what other people think shouldn't matter. But for me personally, I couldn't do it.

My fiancee and I are 12 years apart and we are very happy and in love with each other. He is 35 and I am 24. Age does not matter if you are 18 and above. As long as the couple are happy and in love that's all that counts. I had relatives that were married or had a boyfriend 30 years apart.

Girl dont lie if it's you. :D Older ppl in a relationship help younger ppl to appreciate themselves more... at least that how it is for me when I date a guy that old... they point out the beauty in your youth as you can learn to appreciate the work of art they are.... Both come out winners... Make sure he got bread... old broke men be buggin...

as a guy i would have no problem dating an older lady even one 20 years older --- nor would i have a problem dating a lady a lot younger than me --- (i am anyway) --- as long as there is a genuine emotional connection then there is nothing "wrong" with it -- best wishes

they are both "of age". That is something that only the two people involved can decide for themselves. Sometimes people "hook up" and work out and sometimes they don't, but this is certainly true of couples of all (adult) ages.

Everyone is different and they're both consenting adults. Only they know if they make one another happy.

Wouldn't think it would work out for the long term, but who knows?

I think, if both partners were both the legal age, then who cares what people think, as long as you love each other
