What's the stereotype about how they behave in relationships? Why do western men mail-order them? I even saw this e-book online about strategies to find a Russian girl.

He doesn't make that much more than minimum wage, however the money he does make he tends to spend on random stuff as soon as he gets any money. (i.e. expensive tattoos, cameras, PDA, etc). He is unable to save. I would like to know that he can save up money if asked to, prior to marrying him. I don't mind waiting for years if it takes that long for it to happen.

Okay, I won't break out into song... but if we have had a lot of bumps in our marriage...and I have contemplated leaving him after 10+ years... if I try to stay... how do I bring back that loving feeling? Can I ever really get that back... because it is not there like it used to be. Sure, i love him as the great father to my children. but when I look at him, my heart doesn't patter like it used to. I get annoyed easily with him. And, sometimes I just wonder if I'd be happier on my own. But, if I knew that I could have the heart patter with him again...I'd stay for sure. Can I get that back?

I have been talking to this guy for 3 weeks. He's being weird about actually going out. He's 24. Its been a while since he has been in a relationship and I know his mom and sister bug him about me because he tells me. I met his parents this weekend and it was kinda awkward because I feel like I dont know him well enough yet. He text me all the time and im comfortable around him. But he doesnt actually call me that often. What is going on in his head? Why does he not call me on the phone that often yet text me all the time? And I feel like if he didnt want a relationship or didnt plan on having me around then he wouldnt have wanted me to meet his parents. I just need some outside views and opinions on this. Help!

I meet some one online when i was 17 over the years we've stayed in contact and fell in love through letters , phone, and emails. I am now 23. But we never met. in the begining of this year we started to talk again and decided that we were meant for each other. She become sick a couple month ago and died. i dont know what to do . i never meet her face to face or her family. but i loved her. should i still go to the funeral? i feel that if i never got to see her in life do i have the right to see her in death?? i'm sixteen, seventeen in september, and i'll be going away to oregon june-aug, just before my senior year of homeschool. last month, i got kicked out of my moms house because i wasnt getting along with her and her bfs kids or committing to the household. im living down the street with my gpa, and all of a sudden he's really strict! im really nice to him and his wife and i do A LOT of chores (5 things a day. like gardening, vaccuming, cleaning the spa, etc), do all of my homework, and go grocery shopping for him. i was going out MAYBE 2 days a week if i was lucky. i got grounded 3 weeks ago for getting hairdye on a towel (supposed to be 5 weeks, but i got lucky). monday was my first day off, but he decided i still had chores to do. im still not allowed out, but people can come here, but only if we stay downstairs. im being so good, im just getting so sad. i havent seen a friend in 3 weeks. what can i do? this is my last summer here.

So I met this guy, "Jake", about two months ago, and we have started to develop a friendship. He's really cute, charming, and everything I want in a b.f. As you can probably tell, I have a major crush on him. About a month ago, I started to get the feeling that he liked me back. He was flirting with me and there were other signs of his feelings. Well, I was shocked when, about a week ago, he asked out "Cynthia". Jake and Cynthia never seemed to talk or anything before this. Now that they're going out, they hold hands & stuff, but you can tell that there's not a "connection". Since Jake started going out with Cynthia, he has suddenly become more outgoing and talkative towards me, doing things that seem a little different from his naturally shyer personality. Has his "romance" with Cynthia given him more confidence to talk to me? What's going on with him? Please help - I just can't tell how he feels! Thanx!

Ok, I feel like i am walking on this silver line at the moment, in one way is my happiness and the other way my family. I really love my family, but now that i have finished collage and got a degree, i want to move out and live my life the way i want to. the problem is that i know if i leave i will hurt alot of people and my family will fall apart forever. but if i stay my traditions and duites as a women that i need to follow will kill me because i just can not pretend to be a doll who cries and laughs only when others want to. I can either be selffish and leave a happy family into never ending tears or kill all my desires i had from my self and keep on pretending to be the perfect plastic doll who can't even cry when she wants to. What should i do, follow traditon or my heart. i wish there was a way in which no one got hurt and i could actully live my life rather than living it on someone else terms. what do you think i should do, why are only women the ones who have to sacrafise

I'm getting very close with this guy and we had a huge conversation in which he revealed how he felt and what he wanted with his life, but since then, he's backed off quite a bit and been a little distant. I was cheated on in the past by my ex girlfriend, and my now girlfriend has told me that she cheated in the past. But this was years ago, like 3-4 and she was only around 12 yrs old. All they did was kiss and she deeply regrets it and would not want that guilt again. She is 16 now and it was a thing of the past and not a serious relationship. I have a good friend who teaches with me and we've been friends for a year now she is getting married in June and had asked me to be in here wedding last fall. I threw her a beautiful bachelorette party and spent a lot of money on her because I thought we were friends. Another friend showed up from work and they both have become thick as fleas so much that during the party, they hung out together and pretty much ignored everyone else. I was hurt. And now I find out she has asked this woman to be in her wedding because another friend bailed out on her. She wants me to carpool to OKC and wants to go halfsy on the rental car. I'm not interested in doing that and I feel like I'm pretty much going to be ignored at the wedding like I was at the bacherlorette party. Is it wrong of me to feel this way? I feel like a little kid jealous over friends but maybe I set myself up. I'm still going but to be honest I am not very excited about it now. Is it wrong to feel this way?

I don't understand what people considered friends. I sit in a group of 4 in my English class. It's me and one of my friend, I've known for a while now, and the two other people who are friends with each other. We get along with them really well; we're really close, and talk about all sorts of stuff. This is in class of course. But outside out class, if I see the other two kids in the hall or something, I would say hi and stuff, but they just ignores me. Every single time. So, what's the deal? Do they like become a nicer person in class or something?
