what do i do? i really like the person but they live like 2 hours away? how to i keep it going

why does my husband tell me that he looks whooped in front of people when I say I want to drive? Why does he feel like I am making him less of a man when I say I want to drive?

I hate his driving, we have two small children and drives bad sometimes. AND he misses exits or doesn't know where he's going.

My friend is stuck in a marriage where his spouse torutures him mentally and emotionally blackmails him using the kids. He is willing to end all this, however she is adamant not to give him either divorce or the custody of the kids. How does it work in this case? Can the man still apply for a divorce and also request custody of kids(both minor) citing the mother's psychologically disturbing behaviour? Please help, he is at his wits' end..

I have a friend who I have known for the past 18 years on and off and we get on well, he has always been a bit moany and groany and he has flash ideas about travelling and getting jobs abroad of which I have no interest. These past few years we have come to rely on each other, we are both 25. For the past 4 months I have been going out with someone (my first girlfriend), he has never had one so far and all I get is do you want to go travelling, my life is so s**t, what should I do? when he knows I want to move out with my girlfriend in October. Lately me and my girlfriend have had some disagreements and the first thing he said was you should do what you want most of the time and that I shouldn't settle for second best and he has also been calling me "Norbit" and saying that I should stand up for myself when I know in the back of his mind all he wants is his drinking buddy back and he puts me down and says things like I shouldn't be bossed around

I'm so torn and confused. I have a boyfriend serving in Iraq who I Iove so much. He has been there almost a year, and we have been together four. I have been by his side from day 1, suppoting all his decisions to change careers, including joining the military, and he has cheated on my at least three times (that I know of). Before he left to go to Iraq, we patched things up and are officially together. He is so apologietic and swears he made a mistake...even insinuated he wants to marry me. We get to talk almost every day. BUT - I met someone I'm really interested in. I don't know what to do. Had he not cheated on my in the past, the thought would have never crossed my mind that I might like someone else, but I feel like I'm really sacraficing a lot by not exploring my opportunities. What if my boyfriend comes home and says he doesn't want a relationship and cheats on me? It's such a hard situation and I want to do the right thing.

My ex roommate is pregnant from a man that she says that she is not even in a relationship with. On almost a daily basis she is crying and complaining about him and talking about how she is going to get rid of him because she is sick of dealing with his nonsense. Yet every week she is right back with him.
Just the other day she was mad at him because they went to pick out some things for their unborn baby. He apparently went to another store with one of his 5 babies mothers ( i know how pathetic) and picked out some different things for the unborn baby with her. My exroommate because enraged at him and cursed him out. He told her she was stupid and that she should be greatful for anything he buys that "raggedy a** baby". Of course she cried and said she will not forgive him for that.
Why does she put up with this and complain to me? Why stay with someone who makes you feel like crap and has you crying all the time? Is selfesteem that low?

2 years ago my hb & I seprated for 6 mths. During this time he had sex (if it can be called that on 3 occasions) with s/one else. He felt so guilty & dirty about what had happened that he could not tell me. (it came out when she let me kno 2 years after the evet!!! which was Jan this yr) He has come clean & admits that he had to mastubate himself to get an erection for about 10 mins and that the actual act only lasted for approx 30 seconds as he went flacid & did not ejaculate. He said that the experience was awful & that he was so angry with me he just did it to try & get one up on me as I was (IADMIT) so controlling and hurt him badly (no affair or anything on my part)What I want to know is does this sound right? If so, would it be down to guilt on his part?

This last friday was my graduation. My parents are divorced and married to someone else. Well at the ceramony my dad was carrying around some roses.They weren't for me, so i automaticly thought they were for my step-sister. Well they werent. They were for her best friend who had forgot them at our house. Well my mom didnt know that they weren't for my stepsister, after she had promised me she wouldnt start anything, she started yelling at my dad. She was saying "how could you?" "your daughter is so pist at you!" "our daughter is more important than that ***** and her kids"....blah blah blah.....my dad just left.....then my mom tried to appoligize to my grandmother.....and my grandmother (my dads mom) said "im not accepting any appolagies, that was uncalled for!" My question is why did they have to fight on my graduation day which is an once in a lifetime oppertunity for me to be the center of attention?

Been married for 17 years, three kids,together for 25. The last 8 years of marriage awful. Lots of verbal abuse, physical when we were dating, only twice, while we were married in the last 5 years, punch holes in doors and walls, verbal abuse, walking on eggshells and making mine and my kids lives miserable. Saying some really nasty things. Beg to go to counceling 6 years ago, he wouldn't do it. Kept tellilng him that my feelings were changing everytime he would explode or do the verbal abuse thing. Still wouldn't go to counceling. I did wrong thing (I still feel guilty). I called my ex boyfriend from 27 years ago and yes, my first love. He was married & unhappy, well things happened and it has been 3 years we seen eachother off and on. Were found out, tried to work things out with spouses still couldn't keep away from eachother,even if only talking on the phone. Stil love him, w/ husband now, ex divorced now, but wants me. Husband is trying to change, what about my feelings?
