Has anyone else done this and it affected your working relationship? It's nothing that I'd like to pursue further and the way that I see it , it was most likely a one time thing. So, what do I do?

By the way, I usually avoid situations like these at all costs, however, we were very VERY drunk.

You should let nature take its own course. For now, do nothing. It is always a luxury to be able to "play hard to get," so enjoy the feeling, until you feel the urge to get very VERY drunk again and see where it takes you. In the mean time, pretend not to be interested.

The work-place is meant for working but often we humans slip up and let our hormones dictate. Its not that bad however. These things happen all the time, everywhere. It's not the end of the World. SO don't worry about it too much. Keep smiling and let them wonder what you been up to.

I hate that EVERYONE uses the, "I was VERY drunk" excuse! It's old and lame. I've been WASTED before and never made bad decisions that I blamed on alcohol. I made the decision cause at the time I wanted to, not because of how much alcohol I had in my system. And yeah I'd forget about him. A lil piece of advice too hunny, I wouldn't go hookin' up with people you work with, you might get labeled the office sL u T. Just bein' honest.

I married him! You can have alot of fun with office flirting but don't let anyone know about it at work,,, because one person starts talking then the office is talking, etc....
But seriously.. who hasn't had a drunken mistake?!? If its only a one nighter then keep it that way and "pretend" as much as you can that it never happened.

Just remember you are not the first person to do this... mistakes happen. Don't keep beating yourself up or feeling bad over it.
Move on!

His ethical experience is bothering him. If he's from yet another u . s ., his subculture could have subject concerns with the time-honored public exhibit of love. Even in the western worldwide places, some communities limit this to boot. not something is faulty with you. He needs to confirm what he could desire to do. Be polite, yet do not push the concern.

Let it go, but if the person acts like they are interested, have a conversation outside of work (not a date) to let them know that you are not interested in anything more. You might choose your words carefully so as not to insult etc.

Yikes, I'm a firm believer of "don't **** where you eat. If it was just a fling, leave it be. Good luck.
PS: get a friend with benefits(who doesn't work with you) and program him into your phone for those drunk nights..lol

Please do act like nothing happened. If he is a gentleman he will find a way to communicate with you. If you put him on the spot, he might not know what to do. Please be pleasant, friendly and act the SAME way you did before this happened.
Being a class act, a lady and a professional is the way to go.
Good luck.
