i reminded him and he was like oh happy birthday. he said it like it was whatever or no big deal. his excuse for forgetting was that he was tired. now im so upset to the point of crying. so what should i do?

I am getting married next year sometime and we were trying to think of some nontraditional ways to get married that would be fun. We will only have a 1-4 people coming along with us. One idea we had was getting married underwater (or maybe even skydiving). Can you think of any other good, fun ideas?

When I was Younger My sister died at a young age. I was only ten at the time and she was 14 going on 15 for a couple of months I sort of just shut down. Then I got over it. But for the next 3 years my grandpa, grandma, great aunt, cousin, and uncle died. Mostly because of dieases or accidents. I was close to all my relatives. As I went to one funeral and then another I realized that these deaths didn't affect me at all. In fact the first thing came to mind was to get my old blazer out and a respectable tie. Now when I think about my parents dying or siblings I just think about what kind coffin there going have or how many people will be there and who will I know. These thoughts no longer make me sad. Do I have soul?

I have achieved quite a lot in my life, education and career both. When i used to go out with my ex he used to put me down each time my achievements came up. He has failed in many things in life. Later i found out that he was cheating on me & eventually broke up with him.
But still when he speaks to me once in a while he has the ability of making me feel very low about my self. How can i get rid of this feeling?

everytime i get involved with some1 my best friend is constantly rude to me. she likes to go out and i dont as much, but when i dont have a bf its not an issue, but when i do she blames the fact that i have one as to why i dont go out. she also says im not there for her but she doesnt even call me when she needs me. i just feel like she brings me down every time i hang with her bc she has all these vanity issues. i care about her, bc she has been there for me in the past (friends since 10, now 22), but for the last year and a half she has just been aggresive and mean to me. she picks on me and belittles me and the choices i make in my life and it really hurts me. i was supposed to meet up with her and another friend the other night after i went on a date with my bf and she fought with me bc i wasnt thrilled about where i was supposed to meet her and started calling me a bad friend...regardless i tried meeting up with them and she ditched me and wont answer my calls, texts, or ims. wtf?

I am 19 years old and looking for a new job. Most of my friends are either working part time, or looking for jobs as well and enjoy going to free concerts and events and other cheaper things to save money.

One of our friends always wants to go shopping or go to the city and shop or go to expensive restraunts, spend the night at the Palmer House Hilton "just for fun" etc.
Thing is, she only works 2 days a week and makes $300 a month, and 1/2 goes into her savings...so you'd think she'd want to save, too but she spends fast and then complains when she has no cash.

How can I tell her without hurting her feelings that I don't want to do these expensive things? I usually just go along for the fun of it but it's always just annoying to be there while she shops.

So, i finally decided on a theme for my friends bachelorette party, "Kissing Single Life Goodbye" I am planning on making her a shirt to wear and giving her a cute little bag with temporary kiss tatoos for when we go out, and probably a tiara or something to wear so every one knows she's the bride.....Her mom and future mother in law will be in attendence, so i was trying to avoid a lot of the usual "bachelorette" items so they wont be uncomfortable. Pllus, there wont be a whole lot of drinking (even when we go out) do to other circumstances. What type of favors/ decorations could i do that arent TOO over the top that would go with this theme??? Any ideas would be much appreciated :)

Ok, here goes..... My husband has two daughters from a previous marriage. They are 7 and 4. His Ex is a catholic and his 7 year old has been babtized catholic when she was a baby. My husband is not a religous person but his EX-WIfe is.
He is fine with his ex taking his daughters to catholic church. The problem is that his ex now has a mormon boyfriend who is living with her. She is now going to Mormon church and taking the kids. My husband has talked with her stating that he does not approve of his kids being taught the mormon religion. She basically told him too bad and she is going to take them anyway. So he has no say in his daughters religous upbringing? We are very upset by all this and don't know what to do? We get the kids every other weekend and the ex also made a comment that it is a shame that they don't get to read scriptures at our house.
any advice would be appreciated.

My husband ( 5 year marriage ) and I were at a family dance Sunday. He left early to go fishing so I stayed. I dance with his brother and somthing was starting to happen. He said he wanted to talk to me alone and had feeling for me. (He is in a 14 year marriage with kids). So I told him he just had one too many beers and I would forget about everything. He asked if he could take me home and I told him no. The next day we went to another party. They were there and he said he did not regret what he told me. I told him it was wrong and for him just to think about his brother, wife, and kids. He said he has and me telling him just makes me a better perspn and makes him want me more. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH. I refuse to tell my husband. My husband loves him and has the most respect for him out of all of his family. But now, the thing is what happened.
