When I was Younger My sister died at a young age. I was only ten at the time and she was 14 going on 15 for a couple of months I sort of just shut down. Then I got over it. But for the next 3 years my grandpa, grandma, great aunt, cousin, and uncle died. Mostly because of dieases or accidents. I was close to all my relatives. As I went to one funeral and then another I realized that these deaths didn't affect me at all. In fact the first thing came to mind was to get my old blazer out and a respectable tie. Now when I think about my parents dying or siblings I just think about what kind coffin there going have or how many people will be there and who will I know. These thoughts no longer make me sad. Do I have soul?

Maybe you are just guarded with your feelings now. That was a lot to handle and you would probably be a wreck if you had not managed it as well as you did. You have a soul.

My dear... first off... everyone has a soul. So... yes... you have a soul.
Second... with your sisters death, you probably went "numb" and never fully dealt with your feelings. So now... when your other family members died, you don't know how to process it because you never dealt with your sisters death.
I would definately talk with someone that you feel close to and explain how you are feeling. Just asking this question shows that you do have a soul. You are worried about how you feel and that shows your soul right there.
I'm so sorry that all those deaths have happened in your family in such a short period of time.
Something you might want to do is write down how you felt when hearing about your sisters death and processing everything that you felt.
I hope that this helps.

Your soul is what keeps you alive, if you believe such things. Everyone handles death differently. After my grandmother died, it took me 2 months to stop crying every day and sometimes I still cry, nearly 2 years later. Your way of handling things is your way. It doesn't make you a bad person.

Go get some professional counseling as it sounds like you are still "shut down" from the first incident and are making yourself insenstitive to losing a loved one as a coping mechanism. I am sorry for your losses and wish you the very best.

yes you have a soul.. everyone does...the fact that you are aware there is a problem is a start...it seems you have let yourself grow cold to emotions and you have built a guard around your heart, as we get older this sometimes just happens..we lose our innocence and feelings for others...i hope you can pray and talk about those you love...i pray the lord blesses you and brings you comfort
