My boyfriend is 28 and I'm 25. We've been dating for quite some time and I want to say yes but there is one thing stopping me. His 'best' friend is his ex-girlfriend. This really hurts my feelings, I want to tell him not to see her anymore but that is unfair. He knows how I feel, and we talk about it. I don't have anything against her just the situation. We've decided that we should take baby steps towards me being comfortable. For example: if we're all together he pays extra attention to me. And if I get upset and work through it with him, he tells me how great I'm being. I still get upset because I don't think I should have to put forward this much effort so he can still see his ex. I figured that friendships naturally come and go. So I decided to wait it out and not get married until after they weren't friends anymore. My main arguement is that you should marry your 'best' friend. He's saying that he doesn't want to wait years to marry me. What's your opinion on the situation?

I have a friend who is a single mother of 4, we have recently been hanging out alot and her kids are always there and I really love these kids. My question is this, I would like to have a kid but do not want to adopt or necessarily get married. Any ideas on how to find someone who would want to go along with this while not necessarily being in a marriage or adopting?

me and my friend were playing and he started making fun of me and calling me really bad names.. so it started off fun, but then it got terrible.. i begged him to let me leave and so he wouldnt move from the door, so i got so mad that i hit my living room window. it broke really bad and i didnt realize how bad it was. now the problem is that i want to tell them truth but i dont.. i want to make somethin up like i tripped and fell into it or someone threw a rock at the window. what do you think??i dont want to pay for it but maybe it wont be as bad if i told them something else instead of the truth.no dumb answers plz

hers the story...my cousin is engaged to this girl who here family is close to my family and his family..the girl is 2 years older than me and 5 years younger than him,when i heard he's getting married i was really happy for him , i know that the girl is really hot but i don't know anything else about her, from the moment i heard he's getting married to her i have this strong feeling that i wanted to be with her , or get a girl who's like her or maybe better,me and this girl spent last year chatting a lot in MSN messenger i also remmember her giving me kisses and saying i love you,the good thing i think i don't feel any hate betwwen me and my cousin im acutely really happy for him but can anyone define what is this feelings or why im having it.

in march i got left at a ski resort and i was in the cold for a few hours and i got frostbit, my parents don't want to get my a cell phone because they think i don't need one but i think that certain events have lead me to believe different!

What would this mean?
If you tell a friend that you are trying to get to know more to call you on the phone instead of emailing all the time because it would be faster and easier.. and you give them your number.... and they tell you that email would be better now because they lost thier voice and it is very scratchy and squeaky... what would you think?
This is a former college teacher that i have became friends and we are making plans to go out in a couple of days but she dont want to talk over the phone for some reason.. just email
this is just for friends! just hanging out.. i just dont understand why she dont want to talk over the phone... i dont know if shes not comfortable with it or shy??

I just found out that i'm 5 wks pregnant by a guy that I work with. We've know each other for about 3yrs and he's being pursuing me for about 1 1/2. We've been on group outings and things. And just recently I agreed to give him a chance to really pursue me. But we agreed to take things day by day and make things right. However in the midst of that I got pregnant. Both of us are happy and are excited. However we aren't "together" per say. How do I bring that up to see where we stand relationship wise. I mean I want to know if he wants to continue with what we had or if we will just maintain the friendship while being parents. I care but I don't care. I've been hurt so much that I just condition myself to not care about certain things, but at the same time, I'm having his baby and I kinda want to be apart of his life other than just being his "baby mama". Any suggestions on how to approach this?

My sons father and I never married. My son is almost 5 months old, the father moved out over 2 months ago permanently. He left me many times during the pregnancy. For about 2 weeks after he moved out, he was watching the baby--all while complaining he had to get out of work early so I could get to my job in time, then hounding me all night about when I would be done. Then he finally told me to find other arrangements, leaving me scrambling on a Monday to find reliable care beginning the very next day. Well, he filed for joint custody. He has been keeping the baby on Saturday nights, when there is no scheduling conflict. I filed for child support b/c he said he didn't see any reason to help me out with housing,etc. So for the time being, we agreed he would pay 1/2 insurance and 1/2 daycare, which came to $90/week. At our first child support meeting, he refused to pay for the daycare, citing that he could keep the baby, and that it was unnecessary. So, now it goes to a master's hearing.

When me & my twin sister were younger, my older brother used to beat us with metal clothes hangers & lock us up in a hot laundry room with the clothes dryer running. Now, I'm living with my brother because I have no place else to live, he's starting to show those abusive tendencies again. I thought that over the years, since he turned gay, that he would've become too soft, but I guess not. He yells @ me for no reason & takes his anger out on me when he's uspet with someone else. 2 nights ago, he came home from work & decked me in the back really hard with his finger & yelled @ me to get his attention because I didn't know he had come home & was calling my name. I didn't even hear him come in the door, & he just SNUCK up behind me & did that. I wish I could've fought him back & defended myself. Do you think he'll be likely to start beating on me again? I need to try to find a new place to live because I don't feel comfortable here.

my father had a heart attack about 2 years ago. he had been a smoker since he was 16, and vowed to quit smoking after his heart attack...well i found out a few months ago, that he hasnt. my mom and i thought he had quit, and were very proud of him and his accomplishment....it had taken him no time at all, he just stopped. turns out though, he didnt. he has been sneaking ciggarettes from my mother and smoking them when he goes on his nightly walks, which he started after the heart attack for exercise. i know this for a fact because i see him and act like i dont see him taking the ciggarettes, and ive smelled it on him. i want to say something soo badly. i dont know how, i tried once and he denied it. i need to tell him. its bugging me so bad, i cant trust him and he gets on my nerves so fast now. i dont know how to confront him and tell him i know its hard but you need to try. i need help.

What does that give us? No hope basically! Yes, it says some work out, but it's likely they are trying to make us fear marriage and divorce. Everywhere I look there are people breaking up. I'm in a great marriage, but my Mom keeps on telling me that I won't love him in 5 years over and over again. My husband supports me mentally and he gives me great self esteem, something I never had before I met him. I think it's so wrong that people think that young marriage's don't last. I'm in it for the long run baby.

ok this guy we went out for a while like 4 months but we broke up and i had a friend asked him to the dance for me as friends and he said he was afraid it might turn into something more but he asked me to dance anyway and him and this other guy were fighting over who could dance with me better and he asked me like five times to dance so of course i did and now he keeps sending me emails and is all flirty but i dont know if he is just being nice but he said that he is glad that he danced with me but i dont know how to take cuz i dont want to get my hopes up and it mean nothing but i dont want to think nothing of it and miss my chance since school is over should i ask him to hang out? and do u think it means something?

A guy I would probably not ask out myself, thinks I'm something great and asks me out. I get to know him, fall in love with his great personality, and he with mine and my looks, and we live happily ever after. Or would he think me out of his league and never have the guts?

I've been friends with a girl for 18 years. We got on so well and have so much too talk about and she is just such a great person to be around. The problem is I think I may have developed stronger than friendship feelings for her. A friend mentioned that this friend of mine and myself would make a great couple and it was only when this was said that I started to think of my feelings for this girl. She currently lives in the states and I am in NZ. Her last visit her recently did not see she and I catch up because I was confused and now I think she maybe frustrated with me for not catching up. She has since gone back to the states. I want to tell her but I'm not sure if i should. I really value the our friendship and I don't want to jeapordise it but at the same time she knows that something is up and I don't want her thinking I've become nuts or something. Anyone with some honest advice? Anyone been in this situation before?

Man theirs is this girl in my life right now and she always got me tripp'n. I'm so confused on how to act towards her, because she always telling me that she LOVES me and **** and how we will alway be together, sometimes I feel that way to but then other times I think to my self this is just a dream and you need to wake the **** up. I just don't know, I think she is always lying to me all the time, and then other times I think she is telling the truth. I fell as if she like me a lot but other times I feel as if she don't, I don't know any more, I think she is just playing head games with me. Should I just leave this alone or should I try to work it out because I have no proof that she lies to me but I always get that feeling, Well lately I have been paranoid a hell, I think everyone is lying to for some reason. But other time I just feel like leaving to just get away from everybody lies but you cant do that you have to face them let them know that they can't lie to you any more. What would you do?
