I am perplexed by the "your truth" idea.

Either something is true, or it is not true. You take off your helmet in outer space, you will be out of oxygen in one breath. Like it or not, believe it or not, agree with it or not.

If it is less than or different than something that is true, then it is your opinion, your feeling, your viewpoint -- and anyone can justify their own views or opinions. But no one has to agree with you because those aren't always true.

But truth is objective, not subjective. So you either prove it based on its truth for everyone, or you have your own view which no one else has to accept.

But the concept of "my truth" and "your truth" is counter-productive to what truth actually is.

Why do you need to justify your truth?

Sounds to me like a narcisstic relationship. I would be searching the internet and look up the 40 traits of a narcisstic personality.
