A guy I would probably not ask out myself, thinks I'm something great and asks me out. I get to know him, fall in love with his great personality, and he with mine and my looks, and we live happily ever after. Or would he think me out of his league and never have the guts?

I'm just wondering what this guy is thinking. He isn't make believe. He seems really into me, and I give him all the "go" signs, but he's so shy. I don't like making the first move. I'm afraid no guy who actually likes my looks will approach me. They all seem really shy, which is just a turn on to me, but then they never do anything about it.

Ask him a hypothetical question.Something like,"If I told you that I like you,and want to be more than friends,How would you react?"If he has any sense he will ask you out.
Dont be afraid to put yourself out there for him.He might be waiting for a sign its OK.

As long as you care what the rest of the world thinks, you will never find true happiness. And when you do meet that special someone, you will forget that there are other person in the world altogether...
You know the old saying "nice guys finish last"? It's because of all the shallow and vain people in the world that this saying is shortened down - the original saying ended with ", but when they do finish - they finish BEST".
"Slow and steady wins the race" and "Don't judge a book by it's cover" also came from this school of thought...

yes... as long as you aren't shallow and will actually look at the guys who think that you are "out of their league." you never know what you will find. to me, looks really don't matter as much as i thought they did when i was younger.

Well it depends on how much self esteem he has. If he has low self esteem then he will probably think your out of his league but if he is confident then it could happen.
