they met on myspace...they talk on the phone...they met twice. but hes tellin me i need to trust him. i wanna be a great wife, but im now insecure, and scared. he left the house yesterday, because we cant see eye to eye with this. he told me she is a friend. and i need to trust him. so why do i feel distraught? i love him with all my heart. but he's married. and if they are such great friends, why didnt i know about her?? and why in gods name is he not letting her go for me, even if it is just a friendship, isnt that disrespectful to me???? please someone i need as many opinions as possible, from both males and female...married and single. i need to be sure i do the right thing

Every dog we've ever had has run away, but now my mom wants another one. My dad doesn't and they've really been at odds about this. I'm just worried that my dad won't love the dog if it comes and my mom will only get angrier at him. Ordinarily, we all love dogs, but just can't bear to have our hearts broken again. I don't think getting a dog is a good idea. Is there any way I can reason with her. My mother is very bad on following through on commitments and lacks the patience to properly train a dog or take it to obedience school. Therefore the responsibility for feeding, exercising, disciplining, and picking up after the dog will likely fall on my dad, who already is very busy with work, since my mother won't. She probably wants the dog because her children are all starting to grow up and leave her, but a dog is a 13-15 year commitment, and I don't want to see anyone hurt, including my parents or an innocent dog.

I really did not have a major problem with my soon to be mother in law until she went off on my fiance & I and started calling me a bi**h and a bad mother etc.... She had no reason to say these things in my opinion. I am not trying to get my fiance to take sides but she was. She has told him many times to leave me. In my religon when you get married you cleve unto your spouse. The before family is still important but your future family is the one that you worry about the most. I mean unless your into that you are not going to be having kids with your mother. From what my fiance has told me he has not been happy with his family life for years and now that he has found my kids and I he is finally happy with his life. Even his co-workers say that they have never seen him so happy.
I am not saying I am perfect. I just do not see how to work with a woman anymore who each time I see her she starts an arrugment because she does not approve of me being with her son. What should I do?

My husband and I met in '98, got married in '01, we were both 23. His first job out of college, he was fired 1 month into it for really stupid reasons (they didn't communicate his job expectations, etc.). I tried to encourage him the best I knew how, but it wasn't enough. He turned to pot. On the same day I discovered the drug use, I came home to find him talking about killing himself. He had the gun on the table and it was loaded. This was 2003. I called my mom the next morning to tell her what had happened. He has never forgiven me for telling her.

I've never used drugs in my life and when we got married, he told me it was something he wouldn't ever do again. I developed an emotional relationship with a male co-worker. We didn't have sex but kissed. Meanwhile my husband and I were more like roommates and barely talked. Then, this January, I found out he was having an affair which he claims was just emotional (but a hotel charge on his acct?). Still love him but can this be saved?

It's been 4 months since my ex took a break from the relationship to work on personal problems of his own. I let him know repeatedly that I am here for him if he needs anything. Well it's been about a month now since I've had any contact with him at all because I am trying to give him his space. He recently posted a blog stating (cryptically) that he has been thinking about me a lot lately, and that I have been the inspiration for a lot of songs that hes been writing for his band. If he is thinking about me that much, I figure there has got to be something there. He was burned VERY badly by his ex, I don't know if he just got a little freaked out because he started developing feelings for me and it started getting serious? But I just don't know if I should try to contact him, or continue to wait for him to come back to me? I know I should probably wait until he's ready to come back to me, but I don't want him to think that I dont care...

She left me and went to live with her Dad when she was 15yr old. Now, she has been staying with me every weekend, until this past weekend, her Dad said she could come and stay with me everyother week end. She left because, 1) she hated her stepdad 2)her dad bought her car, $440.00 prom dress,etc.
I have been paying 618.00 amonth child support, the judge was a friend of my ex., so when we went back to court to lower the child support, the judge refused to hear it, said it was a conflict of interest. Now, we have a court date in Sept. to lower the child support. Just recently, I was terminated on my job, my ex. had his lawyer write mine, and said I asked to be let go. I am working part-time right now. My dad has severe Alzheimer's disease, and I am his guardian. I feel wiped out. Any suggestions on how to manage this with my daughter. I love her dearly, and she knows it. It just hurts so bad.

I am a cristian, I am married w/kids,I love my husband very much but i'm sure he doesn't love me. he's been unfaithful many times and i have prayed for my marriage and i've seen the work of God at times in my relationship but i'm not getting any younger. He left me once for someone and it seems like he never trated me like he treated her or any other women for that matter. He doesn't want to go out with me, doesn't kiss me and he's out all the time. I'm not stupit or blind but as a cristian I believe in the word and the power of prayer and everytime I want an answer the Lord wants me to wait and be patient but today i found out how much he was into this person he left me for and that the only reason he came back was because she slept with someone else. What can I do to move on and still be right with God. I'm reaching for an answer for all the true christians out there. I truly need help. I'm lost ,confused and hurt and I don't want to do anything that will cause my salvation.

My friend has a question about kissing her kids on the lips. Her family has done it for generations, her son is 10 and there is a custody issue involved and his therapist is saying that she shouldn't kiss him on the lips and neither should his sister who is 13. ok last night i was at my mom's bf's house when aboutfour to five adults start exstensively arguing mind you there are at least seven kids in the house aging from two years old to nine they (the kids) hate to hear the fighting and hell i don't blame them so i 15 go in to check on the kids and they are begging me to make it stop (all of those kids have endured enough in their life) so i go out and start yelling at the top of my lungs "get the **** out of the house with that **** there are kids in here and they are freaking out in there do you not care about the kids i don't care if the dorr is closed they all can still here you Erica is in there screaming and crying (she is 2) get out!" so then one of then tries to get in my face and tell me i have no say in it b/c i didn't live there so i cam back well i know i don't live here but god damnit there are kids in here so shut the hell up and take it out side. so you feel the same way i do or was i too sheltering about the kids.

Me and my boyfriend have now been dating 5 and 1/2 weeks. All in most, I think It's a great relationship. What bothers me is he always wants to go to karoake. It's of coarse late every night, and some times the other singers are pretty bad. I'll admit he has an awesome voice. If I go with him when we get back it is so late and I'm tired, so that throws that night's sex life outta the picture. Besides, from my health I can't stay up late much anyway. I feel like we had an awesome day, but that night he wants to end with him singing at a bar. He doesn't drink, but what about me? Can't it just be me and my man at home spending some time instead of hearing blazing music, seeing people get drunk, and getting tired?

I'm 18 and I'm a virgin. And I dont have a problem with that, on the contrary, I am very proud of that, but my question or my concern is that, usually people my age has already had sex, so now that I'm ready to have sex I'm afraid that I dont have any experience and my partner has and i dont want to disappoint him, but like I dont know what to do. I really think I've lost it. I recently bumped into someone that I have been crazy in love with for years. I hadn't seen him for 2 years. Yesterday I saw him again and gave him my phone number and ever since I have just been a mess. I'm nervous, my stomach is all f*cked up, every once in awhile my pulse starts racing. I feel like I'm losing it. I want him to call me so so bad. I knew he wasn't going to call me last night, he told me he couldn't and it's only 9 in the morning here so of course he's not going to call this early but I'm freaked out that he's not going to call me at all. I'm sure this seems ridiculous, I am a grown woman. Is this comparably normal? Is there anyway to rid myself of this?
