there is no a person in this world who is not attractive or interesting for someone. I'm sure you met people who wanted to make friends with you, but you were not open enough to see it. We usually think if people we put in our focus are not interested in us, nobody is. That's not true. Be open for all the people and I'm sure you'll find a friend.
You decided that you were not bright. How can you be so sure?
My bf has a friend who is a good person but not very bright. My bf respects him a lot for being such a good person and for trying to learn about the things he doesn't know or doesn't understand.

Hi, you don't have to be bright, that dosent matter. Its what you are like as a person that counts. Do you go to school or college or do you work? Try and get out in the community i am sure there are a lot of people out there as lonely as you, and in need of a good friend. Go to local libraries, cafe bars, discos i don't mean frequent them regularly but be seen.

Sounds to me as if you are lacking in self-confidence! Remember you are as good as the next person.Hold your head high and embrace life People most likely back away from you as they think you don't want to be bothered. Smile more, laugh lots, be inviting to others,. friends will become a natural part of your life. One last thought , You must be a bright person as you know how to use a computer!!!! Luck to you

Just be positive and friendly and perfect. Then you will make friends :)

No, it isn't that easy unfortunately to make friends so I totally sympathise. I'm going to sound odd and old fashioned now but the age of instant information and immediate access to whatever (both online and in consumerist terms) has made people a lot more demanding.

Friends are expecting to share the same interests and integrate into our prepackaged personalised lives.
It sucks- I say talk to odd people, as they may talk back . Or just get lucky with people at work or uni or wherever.

Good luck

The best way to make friends is to be open and accepting of others.

Intelligence doesn't have anything to do with friendships: it's about connecting with people who have like interests. I've also noticed that the best friendships can begin when you help someone through a difficult time by listening or relating and not being judgemental. We all make mistakes and go through rough patches. Also, notice people as they often wear their moods on their sleeves, sympathy and compassion and attention go a long way. :)

Good luck!

hiya. u don have to be bright to have friends, you just need to talk to people. if you're not bright, make a joke of it. I don't judge friends on their inteeligence. It's the big headed ones I try to stay away from. I'm sure you're lovely. Show people. go places. do things. make jokes with strangers. help people out. live a little babe. xxx

cover yourself in Christmas light and pretend to be an Xmas tree, that way you will be bright and very popular at the same time.
