Both the brides and grooms families are what I would describe as working class blue collar folks. The wedding is to be held in Las Vegas with the reception dinner at the Hilton's buffet. See what I mean about "blue collar folks"?

Friends of ours attended a wedding yesterday. The 5 yr old flower girl had a basket of rose petals. She kept dropping the petals in the aisle as she made her way forward.

The 3 yr old flower girl followed the first, and kept yelling at the girl for dropping her petals. She picked them all up and put them into her own basket as she walked down the aisle.

If you were the bride, or mother of the bride, would you do anything about that situation?

My roommate is a friend I have known for 10+ years. He has a girlfriend that lives about 100 miles away and he is gone with her every weekend. However, during the week he has brought home other women on occasion. To this point I have just kept myself out of his business, but now they are talking about marriage, he is still cheating and I don't see him changing his ways. Him and I have talked about the situation and he'll have an excuse for why he cheated but he doesn't seem sorry at all. Should I tell his girlfriend/potential future fiancee?

Not to be blasphemous, but certain configurations of people's components when out of proportion do render them as ugly in people's perception. Universally so to varying but similar degrees. As long as all components of someone's physical makeup are symmetrical and aligned or placed properly, then you may or may not be rendered aesthetically pleasing, or even 'sexy'. But if you are out of alignment, then you may be doomed to a life of video games and fast food/snacks and your right hand. Or even lower on the spectrum you may need to resort to large crack hits and freak show porn to stave off the depravity. Why must one carry around this? Can one not get a reprieve for good deeds done? Can we not find some way to use hi-tech tools to recraft one's facial structure (like Logan's Run)? Or must they be resigned to loading the crack pipe and accquiring new brain lesions henceforth and forthwith and furthermore? Whoa. NOone knows what's it's like - to be me.

Why don't men asks for dates or act like gentlemen anymore? Is it because society has become too free? I've heard men say that it's because of "womens lib" but maybe women's lib happened because men weren't pulling their weight. Women didn't have a choice when it came to making the money or ruling the household?

1) keep her uneducated
2)make her feel inferior
3) be cheap and when going on a date
4)when going on a date with her stare at other women
5)yell at her in public

what else.....

this list is to actually make women aware of the tactics guys use to keep them down. cause lets face it...lots of women are clueless and will take abuse from men and dont know they are being controlled.

okay maybe I phrased it more properly this time. If you enjoyed oral sex, and chose to do it out of pure enjoyment for yourself, but NEVER recieved it from your partner, would it be a dealbreaker? Even if the actual sex itself was hot and almost worth it?

I have custody of my twin boys & he has a son. They are all 5. He does not have custody of his. We absolutely love each other & are best friends, but he's not interested in "being a family." (We have been together for 15 months.) He says it's too hard for him to see his son 4 days a month and mine 26. He's not ready to commit to being a family. His son's mother (they were never married) is super nasty and does everything in her power to make him miserable. They have been split up for 3 years and she left him. She hates me and my boys and tells her son crap about us (not true... never even met her) just contributing to him not wanting to do the family stuff. His son told me the other day he misses me. I left him tonight & told him I couldnt lead 1 life w/him & 1 w/my kids. Do you think he will ever feel differently? Why do I hurt so much now? Anyone ever been through this? I want to be with him, but I can not and will not do so at the expense of my precious boys. :~(

I aksed this question earlie, and I still recieved no answer yet.
I stated that my husband and I had a really wonderful weekend and every thing went great, but the problem is that to me it all just seems to real to be true to me and we've only been married for a couple of months and it is just too perfect to me. And with all that I have been through with the bad choice of men it all just seems to real to be true.
He tells me he loves me and shows it without fail surprises me with gifts and things and roses and all of that, I just don't know whats to it, I'm scared that Dr. Jeckle & Mr. Hide might pop out of no where and tha will be the end of it all.
Whats wrong with me & why do I feel this way when every thing seems to be fine?

i seem to choose women like my mother. needy, in need of a savoir, and looney tunes. However i want a devoted woman who would respect me and i would respect her and listen to her if there was mutual respect and trust. i keep finding the needy really attractive women. I'm an attractive guy but i just can't wrap my hands around a woman that actually knows marriage is for life. i keep choosing little girls that need their daddy. when i marry i marry for life. the women i marry all end up having affairs or going looney tunes and are very emotional and drama filled. Anybody want to date a tall, dark, 6'2" guy with a good job in NC who is looking for a strong woman that knows what it means when you say foever? i tell you it's tough these days to find a strong woman who is really strong. a lot portrait the image but are really in disguise as little girls.

my bf and i are in a spot of bother as he has two best pals who are brothers ... they both want to be best man?
seriously, the three of them are like brothers, inseperable

older brother: trustworthy traditional decent happy

younger brother: cheeky rude (in a funny way) decent and cheery

they both come from a wonderful family and have been brought up wonderfully, tho i dont trust the younger one to arrange his stag night ;)

he is really upset about having to make this choice, could anyone tell us if they could both be best man?

i reminded him that that was our song and he new that and that was why he wanted it. we have a daughter together and he said it reminds him of me and the daughter we have together but as of friday we will be divorced so why would he want to do that?
he is the one who lied and cheated when i was pregnant!

We had a relatively long-term relationship, but he and I have now been broken up for over a year. While our relationship was rocky for a while, we are friends now, although we don't see each other that much. I get along with him really well and I love swimming, but I'm afraid that it would be awkward, especially if it was just him and I. There was a lot of sexual and romantic tension in the months after we broke up, and I worried that it would be awkward for me to be around him when he is shirtless/ him see me in a bathing suit (especially since we don't see each other much). I don't want there to be any romantic tension, just a fun time swimming. We started talking about places we could go when it gets warmer..should I go swimming with him, or should we think of something else to do?

I've only been engaged for 10 days, and I really want to get married in Vegas. It seems like it will be fun and way cheaper. If I get my way I plan on having a barbecue/picnic type reception when we get back so everyone can celebrate. However, I'm already getting hurt looks and faces of disappointment when I mention what I want to do. I really just want the wedding to consist of me and my fiancee his parents, sister, and nephews (they live in AZ) and my dad, sister, and brother-in-law (who live in WI where we do). My fiancee seems to be more concerned about everyone else's feelings on the situation instead of doing what we might really want to do. He keeps saying Vegas is fine, but I can tell he's worried about hurting people's feelings and that's what nagging at him when I mention Vegas. How do I get my Vegas wedding without starting hurting the feelings of my extended family? Or is it just impossible? Any suggestions, even rambling, would be appreciated.
