he told me he wants to get a tattoo on his chest of the lyrics from our wedding song. Basicly the chorus. the line goes. " You won me over, in no time at all"
i reminded him that that was our song and he new that and that was why he wanted it. we have a daughter together and he said it reminds him of me and the daughter we have together but as of friday we will be divorced so why would he want to do that?
he is the one who lied and cheated when i was pregnant!

maybe it is because of your daughter. Meaning out of all the crappy things that he has done that you and your daughter are the things that are good. And sure he ruined things with you but maybe it symbolizes what you two did right.
i don't know...kind of makes sense to me.

Sounds to me like you might have to get his family in on this. They are the ones that can get him the help he needs. If there's no family then everytime he comes over to your house, you need to call the police and let them know how scared you are. You are not dealing with a mentally sane person here, so there's no reasoning with him. Every time the police are called there will be a police report filed and that will help you in court. But you have to do something before he loses it altogether. Be careful and good luck.

It always seems that a week before the divorce, there is this reconciliation period. Questioning whether or not one really gave their relationship a fair chance.
Let him do what he wants, and just maybe that tattoo will remind him of how he threw it all away.

Men do this all the time. I was thinking for over a year of leaving my first husband, and everytime he came up with something, and usually actually did this, and it kept us together.
You have a child together, and we didn't, so your situation is much more serious. Maybe he wants to be bonded with you and his child, no matter what takes place.
There are reasons for everything, and he is behaving as a typical man and husband.

He wants you back.. No other reason about it... My brother in law cheated on my sister twice while she was pregnant, and once after the baby was born... He hasn't cheated since and now is a completely different person and as much as I HATE HATE HATE him... I sincerely think that he will stay faithful... It's up to you at this point... But remember, actions speak louder than words.

This is his last hurrah for you to look at him and see the man that you fell in love with and look past the "inconsistencies in his behavior". Tell him if he wants to get a tattoo to think about his daughter get her name tatted on him.

That is strange, maybe he feels bad about hurting you. i am sure he still loves you and you will always have a special place in his heart forever, not to mention your daughter, you will always be a part of eachothers lifes.
