I'm a gay man living in a small town. None of my friends and family have any idea, how do I tell them. There dosn't seem to be any other gay people in Hadleigh.

In America, our "mate" is usually our love interest but I get the feeling that "mate" among the British can be either a friend/buddy or their love interest. Can someone (British) clear this up for me?

ok i think its time to step it up a little bit with my gf. when we makeout we usually just kiss and maybe feel around a little bit with our hands. i want to take it to the next level but i dont want to freak her out or make her feel uncomfortable. so im thinking next time we're making out and we get really into it i'll either go for the hand up the shirt or maybe down the pants but im afraid she'll freak out because she is a vigin. i wanted some suggestions on what i could do to make amove on her without scaring her.

I have this really good friend, we get a long great. We've known eachother for a couple years and have grown to be really good friends. The thing is, I'm a girl and he is a guy. I really like him as a friend, one of the best... But he's starting to like me. I first noticed it when he would get jealous if I ever hung out with other guys... But now I know for a fact that he likes me.
I guess I'm saying that he's a really good friend that likes me and I don't like him and I'm kind of lost. I don't want him to like me because I don't want him to get hurt and I don't liike him that way... but I don't know how to deal with it.

what is it that you miss about your youth?the wonder of new things,learning,chums,your first love,family christmasess,birthday parties,summer holidays,playing without fear or ridicule,or just daft stuff,football in the park with jumpers as goal posts,adventures etc we can do all these things as adults but is it the same?

Well my dad pretty much ignored me and wasnt around until my parents got a divorce then i had to visit him every second weekend from 6-12. So yeah he would always call me names and say i was ugly and stupid and a *****, and a spoiled brat, and an @ss, and well yeah and then my mom got remarried and he would pull down my pants and spank me and like slam me against the wall and call me names and say i was ugly, and had an acne problem and etc. Then he also started commenting on my, lets say 'budding female figure' and my mom knew and didn't do anything. then well i had had it and moved in with my dad. He rarely gave me food, like twice a week tops, called me names, ignored me for hours, told me how i wasnt wanted, threatened to take me to an orphanage and yeah so then i moved back in with my mom cause she had gotten a divorce with "Randy" and now she has a new boyfriend, who moved in a month a go. He snoops around in my room daily, calls me names, and once grabbed my wrist and twisted it

My 14 yr old stepdaughter lies all the time!!! Lies about every dum things AND steals. Once she stole my gold diamond rings from my jewel box and flashed one of them down into a toilet!! When she was caught, she lies about it, tiring to convince her dad that she didn't do anything. Well, he didn't buy that off course. We have 2 daughters, 5 and 1. My SD moved in our house about 2 years ago because, her mom married to a guy and my SD claimed that he touched her.(I doubt it) She obviously doesn't like my 5yrs old and says bad things about her (I happened to read some letters my stepdaughter wrote to her friends). We sat down and talk. I tried to be there when she needs some help. My husband did whatever it seemed good to stop her bad habit. BUT she doesn't stop lying and it's just getting sneaker. It's really bothers me when my SD acts so mean to my 5yrs daughter. I know I have to communicate but, I'm tired. I don't feel like talking to her or accusing her for her lies. Any suggestion?

Alright, so I think I have a problem. Any guy that I get interested in, I think I'm in love with. I can look into their eyes and fall in love so easily. So my question is, how will I know when the right one does come along? How will their eyes be any different? I'm moving, and I'm in a relationship at the moment, but there's a guy where I live right now that has amazing eyes! And when he looks at me, it's like he's looking deep into my soul.. but I've felt this way with other guys too. How will I know if this guy is greater then the guy I'm already with? They're both real special.. please help!! Oh yeah, and this guy says he doesn't want a relationship.. but why then does he look at me the way he does? I'm so confused!

Everytime my boyfriend and i are going to get together something always comes up or something happens and we have to wait for a few more months and it sometimes it feels like that he don't want to be with me but i know he does love me and he keeps telling that he is sorry and we will be together one day soon.We are suppose to get together soon but i am affraid that something else is going to happen and we won't be together once again.Am i just bieng a dumb *** or just being played for a fool?Don't get me wrong i do trust him and everything but nothing seems to happen till the day we are suppose to meet up.What do you guys think about all this?

3 yrs ago my f-in-law went on this wild streak and left his wife for a crackwhore & moved all over the country. I dealt with that through my pregnancy & through my sons 1st birthday. my m-in-law took him back after leaving her for a yr. she lost her home,business & her extra job bc of this. my son was nearly 2 when we finally said fine you can come back around us. I still dont like them. my f-in-law is a jerk & treats me like crap when noone is around. on top of this they abandonded their family & moved 6 hours away & only come in a few times a yr. & didnt show up to my daughters birth or her 1st bday. in 2 weeks my son will be 3 & they refuse to come in bc its a long drive. but 2 wks after that they will be driving in for my nephews grad.i feel like my kids are getting the shaft because somehow they always appear at the other grandkids events. they wont watch my kids when they are in town but always manage to watch the others.i dont think they are very good g-parents to my kids.

I haven't done any thing wrong in about two years between us all except I didn't like one of my friends ex-boyfriends, big deal right. well lately they don't invite me to their parties because I don't drink, so is their excuse for not inviting me.

One of my friends, Lisa, and I graduated last year and the other Kim, graduates this year. Obviously communication is going to be tough but we've managed. until now. But when they say that their lives are horrible..I have no room talk *according to them it seems*. Thing is I'm ALWAYS supporting them and they never take the time to listen to my problems. I know that sounds needy, but when you've gone through something semi-tragic that's what friends are supposed to do right?

So I have NO idea how to confront them about all this because every time I have a problem they come up with one of their own that's worse.

i work with alot of girls in my new jops and their good looking girls and they keep sayin i'm hot and they wish i would ask them out and i like this girl and she give her phone number and we start dating and after the second date she told that she fraid of dating me because she think that just becasue other girls think i'm hot means i'm going to sleep with them or wherever and she said that she think that i just want to have fun with her.
the truth is i like her but i want to get to know her and no she not talking to me. i think that she think she ugly to be with me or to be my girlfriend. but to me she not i think she beautiful?
