I have this really good friend, we get a long great. We've known eachother for a couple years and have grown to be really good friends. The thing is, I'm a girl and he is a guy. I really like him as a friend, one of the best... But he's starting to like me. I first noticed it when he would get jealous if I ever hung out with other guys... But now I know for a fact that he likes me.
I guess I'm saying that he's a really good friend that likes me and I don't like him and I'm kind of lost. I don't want him to like me because I don't want him to get hurt and I don't liike him that way... but I don't know how to deal with it.

Tell your friend how you feel. Ive been in the same situation, If hes a TRUE friend then he will respect how you feel.

It almost seems that you are unsure of your own feelings. The problem with the "friend zone" is all of a sudden you have empathy for the other party and its not all about having fun and makin love. The trouble is now is these feelings of like that he is harbouring isnt going to go away overnight so i would suggest to clear the air.

Perhaps ask him out on a date, as a sort of experement. Tell him if it doesnt work out in the end that you will harbor no bad feelings.

I agree, its easy to sit on my **** and dish this advice out to someone ive never met (actually typing this up myself gives me some ideas for a simmilar situation i am facing :P)
