So here is the situation....my roommate is outside the US and wants to stop her Comcast service...she has given me her account info - can I call Comcast (or go to their Payment Center) and disconnect her service? Thanks for the info!!!!!

ive just had a nasty virus, had to format it messed up norton and everything, and i think its done something in bios because when i boot up now it takes ages, it stays on the 1st screen with 2 options, 1. press F2 for bios. 2. press F11 for boot option

Ive had a look in bios and cant see anything related to this, my pc would normally boot up without having to wait or choose an option, can anyone help they'de be a saviour

I have a problem with my norton internet security 2007. It keeps saying I need to update basic PC sercurity and has a big fat red 'X' on it saying im at risk and has another 'X' next to protection updates. I click the button 'fix now' and it begins to fix, says it has finished fixing but I still have the 'at risk' warning. On top of this my windows defender won't update either. HELP!

I have recently been having "pop ups" from the "security Center" saying that my computer is at rick and I have viruses and malware... whatever.... I believe this in itself is a virus. At first, it took over my homepage... then I downloaded some software to get rid of it, which this was mainly a firewall that kept it from getting to my IE.
NOW I have a little yellow shield that will pop up saying that I have viruses and I also have the pop ups that direct me to websites like pestcapture and ad heal. Anyone heard of this and how do I get rid of it?
I have run system mechanic, AVG, Zone alarm anti virus... and they have found some malicious software and got rid of it, but obviously not all of it!!!

well first of all i had a ton of viruses on my pc thismorning i ran spybot etc and got rid of them but more are still coming?i havent been using the net much at all and neither has anyone else in my house only to check my emails and come to this site.a small white square with something that looked like blue or grey dots appeares in the system tray for a second and as soon as i put my mouse over it it quickly dissapeared i thought that was weird coz i dont have any program with an icon like that and have NEVER seen it before...and windows firewall keeps asking if i want to block all these strange programs i have never heard of one being(adirss) also..what to do???

help i really want to remove all these harmful things from my computer , also my computer has detected that remote user is trying to connect to my computer via http protocol and i cant BLOCK THEM FROM DOING THESE THIngs because i have to buy a spyheal winanitspyware or other stuff to delete all these threats to my computer, !!! PLEASE HELP ME OUT! and my computer is slowing up

IS THERE any thing out there that can remove my computer errors spyware threats etc... FOR FREE? because i dont have the money to pay for these things and all of them scan but cant remove anything unless u register and enter a code!
