I had a dns error problem appearing earlier for a single site while others opened normally without a hitch...that problem got sorted out on its own.. and no dns error appears anymore and site opens normally.
but now ,,my windows firewall option has disappeared from my control panel... the firewall and pop up blocker have disappared completely ...what must i do to get the firewall back and working ?

My brother was recently murdered and we have all of his personal belongings. We found that he had a Yahoo Mail account and we'd like to get into the mail to see if there may be anything of use to us as a family. However we don't know what the protocol is, do we request to Yahoo? Or is there a type of ...master passcode a sort of one size fits all in the...'password'..'techie' world?

i have formatted the c: drive, reinstalled the windows but the Trojan horse remains in c:\WINDOWS\MDM.EXE.
I have re-installed it from the Microsoft CD. After the fresh installation i installed Norton antivirus and had the latest virus updates. but when i click on my D: Drive to access some files the trojan again appears. and the norton real time protection gave me the MSG: "Virus Found: name: Trojan Horse: location/ file: C:\Windows\MDM.EXE"
now my question is, if virus is in the file which is located in D: Drive then why norton real time protection giving me the Wrong location, plus when i scan my computer with the norton antivirus it didn’t find any virus in D: Drive.

Everytime I start my computer I get message saying "an error has occured" "this program needs to close" "anything that you may have been working on will now be lost" and then it says "msvcrt.exe"

I have a feeling this might be a virus and I have scanned my computer with Trend Micro PC-Cilllin Interet Security and it hasn't detected any viruses. Anyone know what this is?

Is there away to go back and check history if it has been deleted? I think he only deletes what he knows is wrong. How can i check without putting strict limits on what our computor will allow you to see?

I had been having problems with sending pictures to my friend who has OE. I kept getting error messages and in trying to fix it I got his name where mine should be and I can't even use it. When I go to OE I get an hour glass that won't let me click the help button.Does anyone know how I can change this or where to go to for help. Thanks!.

They claim my account has become limited. I don't find anything wrong with my Paypal account! They appear to disguise themselves as Paypal themselves and their address. Might be phishers.
