Dear all IT Expert,

Few days ago, There's virus in my flashdisk. So, I tried to scan it with antivirus. But, after I scanned it I can't access through my data. Although I can open my flashdisk, there's no data inside.

But when I checked from properties, I found out that free spaces only left 80MB and used spaces 400MB. My data is still there in my flashdisk, but i can't access them.

Help me plis.... Can it be fixed or not? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you for your help.

i download removal tools do the full scan and every time the trojen vendo infostealers and adware are never found.just dont want to delete everything to get the lot back.

what happens to quarentined viruses ive submited them to symtec 4 a response just wondering if they are keeped there permernetly.how do you go on if they cant find the viruses cos when i scan for them the scan says no trijen found?

When I open a photo attachment which I receive in Outlook it opens up in the Windows Picture & Fax Viewer. The problem is, when I start cliking the Next Image button, the widow starts showing me cached images from long back(also contains some nude images :D). I am not able to find out these stored hidden images using 'search' option. The location of the pictures show as 'Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/OLK". (using properties). Any idea how to get rid of these files

I accidentally downloaded 3 trojans. I deleted them, but they had installed a toolbar on my IE7 browser that I cannot make disappear. I tried going to the 'reset' button, but It kept saying that I had to close all the windows before doing this. What the heck is going on??? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

Also, there are these 2 icons in my taskbar that I believe to be related to the virus... But since the virus is gone (as I read in another question) they should disappear. How can I get rid of these???

PS: Deleting the program on add/delete programs doesn't work.

My Pc had a virus attack which has hacked registry settings and some of the registry settings got changed due to which I cannot even go to the task manager, Folder Options etc. I have installed the antivirus and cleaned the virus but I cannot reset the registry settings can any one tell me how to reset the default register settings in windows XP.

omg i was on my net like 9 hrs ago an it started to go slow i tried to sigin into yahoo and ie was the other program open and it wouldnt let me it keep on signing out then i click the start button to get another program an it said all my files were empty like everything was deleted an then i keep clickin the start an it came back so i unplugged my internet .. i have since then deleted yahoo messenger an scanned my computer it took 7 hrs i need a good virus free REAL program i called my cable company an they told me about AVG an i downloaded it an it said some part of it didnt down load wats goin on im scared now being on here .. also im scared to restart my computer for fear it will delet all my files.. Plez answer this asap. ill be back to check in an hr if i dont fall asleep .. an my ie is supppper slow its been like that for a while . like i said i can use all the help i can get hope u understand this. tc..

Is there any way to retrieve Instant Messeges from the computer harddrive, even if they have been deleted from the messenger itself. I know that the forensics teams in police labs can do it, but is there anyway for good old american citizens with a decent amount of computer experience to access these files? I need to get into Windows Live. I would also like to get into this to see if a webcam has been used (if possible). I have tried keyloggers but they only show one side of the conversation! If you know of a way, please let me know! Thanks

My MySpace account has been phished 3 times now. The last several tries to change my password didn't work because the verification code or password was incorrect. Even when I typed the code correctly it was still coming up as incorrect. This is frustrating! I'm even thinking about deleting my MySpace account because of me being a phishing target! What more can I do?
