The answer is Yes.
A bit of info for you, I did a test the other day, downloaded a game from Limewire scan it with AVG, it had a Trojan in it but AVG could not remove it so I went to bitdefender free online scan, this program remove it (or so it stated) I then un-installed AVG & installed Nod32, When I did a full scan with Nod32 I found that Bitdefender had only partly remove the trojan, Nod32 fully removed the trojan.
I have full respect for Bitdefender it's got me out of trouble many times but without a dout Nod32 is the best.
The trojan was: Trojan.Peed.Gen

yes dear,
you shud remove the older one first...
the reason is not that they eill conflict but the two will make ur computer very slower.. as u can see that when only by one if we do scanning our comp gets unusable that time...
but i can give a better solution..
use my solution.. u will never b in trouble...
use these, u will never b suffered from viruses or spies..
1. NOD32 is an antivirus

when ur 30 day trial expires.. just reinstall it, it works fine again... i m using its free version from 2 years..
2. Autopatcher.. keeps ur computer update and makes ur security so much tight that u can live without antivirus too...

Yes, Yes, Yes, never try and run two anti virus programs at the same time, they will conflict with each other. You can run a number of Ad-Aware or SpyBot programs together but not anti viruses programs.

Yes. If you don't it may get complicated. The computer will not allow to have two antiviruses. It may slow down if you don't remove the first one.
