Does anyone know where you could find directions (or someone who could tell me) about how you could monitor someone else's computer remotely. I am trying to detect whether my step-mom is cheating on my dad and would like to monitor her emails and/or chats. Anyone know how? And is that legal? Thanks in advance

I have a 2 GB kingmax flash usb and I downloaded a program from here:

www.openflashdrive.com

the ones that say:

Security Tool for Window
UT_Format&Lock_Manual-v2.pdf (110 KB)
FORMAT.EXE (680 KB)
LOCK.EXE (276 KB)

However when I open the format.exe with my usb in, it says no flash usb disk attached! But it is attatched because i can access it through my computer and add or remove files. what's wrong?

I have Norton Anti Virus installed on my pc. I recently ran a web spybot and it said I had 2300 infections of spyware.
My question is if I purshase a Norton Internet Security and run it, will it remove the spyware and adware? And can you set the NIS to preform/scan every day or so?
My NAV has never reported any viruses and I run it every day.

The threat is not sufficent to involve the police
I have located the IP address from the header (I think)
and would like to identify the name of the person who sent it
and if possible that persons phone number and address.
Using the web I located the area from where it was sent. Here is the header:

How can I tell if my work computer has any 'big brother' software that my employer has installed? While I can connect to a server, most of the my work day is spent off that server. I have been dealing with some sensitive issues with my child's school and would like to be able to respond promptly to emails sent by them, but want to be sure that it is private. Any advice would be helpful.

Hello, I have a P2P program that is unable to get past my firewall, Norton Internet Security 07, even though I created the rules that allow the program to download and upload data, and set up a port, 65534, its still unable to connect through the firewall, Windows firewall is off, but its the Norton firewall that doesnt allow connectivity even after the rules have been set and saved, even after restart and everything, the program is at its latest release and it just cant find its way to the port. It didnt do this the first few weeks that I had it, and I was running the same Norton firewall only 2006 version, now that I updated it simply wont connect. What could be the cause of this? and how to fix it?.

Thank you

In case you don't know what TCPA or TCG is, it is a acronym for a term that is intentionally made difficult to understand.
Vista is the first OS to exploit this protocol to its full potential keeping the "bad guys" out and letting only the "good guys" have access.
And if you happen to be a really trust worthy "good guy" like the government or microsoft is then you can have complete access to any and all machines any time you want because you are the keeper of the "master keys".
But even though they say it is for your own good, you really have to ask yourself the question, do you really want anyone (even someone who is trusted) peeking on you any time they feel like it?
Even copying or deleting files off of your hard drive.
Complete access is granted to any machine running Vista and a TPM chip for the one who has the master keys.
Hey, but If you are not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about, right?
