Does anyone know where you could find directions (or someone who could tell me) about how you could monitor someone else's computer remotely. I am trying to detect whether my step-mom is cheating on my dad and would like to monitor her emails and/or chats. Anyone know how? And is that legal? Thanks in advance

Yes, I have spoken to my dad about this and he says that he would like me to do this for him. He said he would do it himself, but he barely knows how to send an email, much less handle this situation.

Yes, it is illegal. If your dad wants to do it that is one thing, but you may not.

Yes it is illegal. If your dad has ordered you to do so you can try following things:

1. You can Install a keylogger in that system where you think you step mom is using it.

2. You can Install logmein and remotely operate your step mom computer.

3. If you wish to check her emails and chat then your step mom's computer should be on a network with your computer, then you can Install spy software from http://www.softactivity.com/

Hope these works.

what you are asking is very illegal, you should not attempt this unless you are prepared to start a lot of trouble if you are caught out

This requires more computer understanding to do it.
