When I try to access my yahoo email, I get a "high risk" virus alert saying the w32.feebs virus has been detected, cannot be repaired, and access has been denied.

What can I do to fix this so that I can access my email?

I received this email in my account this morning and the sender is from my own account, and the content is obviously spam, it is entitled "Hot Alert" and the content is apparently an inside information about some stocks. I will delete this piece of mail like any other spam mail, but I am worried if my password has been phished so this happens?

Under what other circumstances would you be able to send an email to yourself with that same email address? And why would they send it to me using my own email address?

Does anyone have a similar occurence?

A full scan shows no virus, but each time my daughter or I logs in, we get a warning that a virus has been detected, and resolved.

Here's the story. Computer was fine, then not. Blue screen of death. Only way to get one was to go to the task master and force myself on. I have no desk top icons.... nothing. I went into safe mode and uploaded AVG. It caught the virus and then I went back in and re-booted computer to a last known configuration. Ran Norton as well as AVg and everything looked fine. I get home from work and no desktop icons again. As soon as I turn on the computer, the box comes up with "Internet has encountered a problem and needs to close". How do I fix this, get rid of it, make it go away!!!!!!!????

When I run a virus scan it comes up with c://windows/system32/shell32.dll. What does that mean? The result says change. But it will not let me remove it. Could that be whats making my computer run so slow?

My computer has the McAfee Internet Security Suite 8 in 1. It originally came with the '06 and they a few weeks ago upgraded it to the now new '07. I have the '07 in the box I bought so that in April when it expires I can go ahead and install it because the 6 month trial I liked. What's involved in installing the software? I've heard that first you uninstall the 1st one that came along with the computer then install the one I bought at the store. Would someone go through the steps for me so that when the time comes I'll be able to have the antivirus protection ready to go to install, tanx!!!

I downloaded Sophos Anit Virus as discussed in the original question posted by someone else. However, I believe it got rid of the virus Trojan.Zlob which I think it has come from, but if I open IE and click on View tool bars I still see protection bar....it won't open but I want to make sure it is gone. Also I try to delete the Internet Security 2006 from Add remove programs, and it only says to restart comp, I do that and when I come back it is still there. For the most part I'm not getting anything else showing up. Any suggestions........ Is it still there??? I deleted all the Adware in Safe mode as well.
