When I run a virus scan it comes up with c://windows/system32/shell32.dll. What does that mean? The result says change. But it will not let me remove it. Could that be whats making my computer run so slow?

Try to quarantine it. Also try googling it to find out what it manes and there may also be further instructions. Try clearing your files and cookies and do a disk defragment (may help speed up your computer) Peace!
