Hello! Sounds like the first thing you need to do is download Microsoft's Malicious Tool Remover, and should it find something it'll knock it off. I would also recommend downloading Spyware Terminator (free) and maybe you need to redownload and reinstall AVG's latest version. Upon having the downloads, run Microsoft's first, then AVG and the Spyware Terminator. Then get online quick and get updates, then knock off the connection to run AVG and Spyware Terminator. Also get CCleaner to clean out your cache and knock out those bad MRU type cookies. Hope this helps. Do try to start sentences in capitalization so we can read it better and so help you more.

whoa, slow down a second. Too many run on sentences gives me a headache.
I would download avg free from another pc and run that on your pc. It's possible you changed a setting in the registry or system setting by accident.
You may have a virus from an im messasge or email or chat from someone in yahoo.
I highly doubt you have a boot sector virus that affects your pc when you reboot. If you have access to another pc, I would download the latest version of avg free to a cd (I say cd to eliminate any risk of infecting a usb drive). You can use a usb drive if necessary.
Run a full system scan immdeidately. It's easy to follow. Also recommend installing "spybot search and destory". It helps get rid of spyware. Do a google search for spybot. It's also not a bad idea to download se adaware personal from lavasoft. Again do a google search. It's free and helps get rid of bad stuff.
Try to run those programs before you do a reboot, incase it is a boot sector virus. It may not be a virus at all, it's hard to know without being there.

Here's a list of programs that no system should be without:
Spybot Search & Destroy
Ad-Aware SE Personal
CCleaner
HijackThis!
CWShredder
Windows Defender
ZoneAlarm
WinPatrol
Spyware Blaster
Spyware Guard
IE Spyad
Mozilla Firefox
When used together with your system's antivirus program (use AVG if you don't have one), these programs help form a comprehensive defense against malware.
*NOTE: Before running any of these programs, I would suggest that you turn off your System Restore. This will make sure that any malware on your system has not place to "hide" when you are killing them off. Preferably, you should run these programs when booted in Safe Mode.
Be sure to download and use Spybot and Ad-Aware first, as these programs will help kill many baddies (and should make your system run better).
Once you do so, download and run the other programs, making sure everything is up to date. Once you get to HijackThis!, I would advise to choose its "Scan and Make Report" option and post your log (with copy/paste) on the TomCoyote Forums. They will help you get rid of anything bad hanging around your registry.
Good Luck!

Some virus and spy ware programs take up your computers memory and also connect to the internet when you are online to download even more spy ware programs
First you need to disconnect from the internet then install your anti virus program and spy ware program to remove the virus or spy ware on your computer.

download Mozilla Firefox to begin with (dont use IE since it is a piece of crap).
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Use the online virus checker by Trend Micro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Once this is done and you have removed any viruses reboot and ensure you reinstall AVG , update and re-scan.
Good luck!
